2023 Woman of Achievement-Dr. Mildred Stahlman, Vanderbilt

Dr. Mildred Stahlman, Vanderbilt, is one of the founders of modern neonatology whose groundbreaking work led to the development of one of the first premature neonatal intensive care nurseries in the world. She has received the highest awards given by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Pediatric Society and was inducted as a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
