As I was watching this, I thought how odd that Naomi would say she did not even like Megan. I mean, if the cops came to me and said some girl I went to school with had been murdered, I would have just said I was sorry to hear that. I wouldn’t have insulted the girl. Then it came out that Naomi‘s husband was guilty. I have a hard time believing Naomi did not know anything about this. Why did she have anger toward Megan? Why did she tell her husband to reupholster his truck? Something about Naomi does not sit well with me.
I never like to say that I would "never" do or say something in a given situation. People do strange and not always very kind things if they feel threatened, as almost anyone might if they are caught up in a murder investigation.
@@elizabethsohler6516 Perhaps you’re right. I didn’t actually say “never,” but let me qualify my statement by saying “I don’t believe I would have answered that way.” This doesn’t negate my suspicions however. He had "21 PREVIOUS FELONY CONVICTIONS"🤬 He should have been behind bars long before he racked up that many felonies!! Absolutely ridiculous that someone would be allowed to walk the streets with that many felonies!!!
Felonies are not all created equal. Be wiser with your words. You cannot lock someone up for life without just cause. Please list all these felonies...
As a young woman I was tricked by a man offering a "job". My advice, never ever go alone to a job interview, especially a private arrangement, always take someone else with you and if you feel uneasy or unsure about a situation then don't go, or leave immediately. You can always find another job, your life is irreplaceable. Not everyone is good or honest and it's not always obvious that someone's intentions are bad or selfish and evil. Always keep yourself safe and please take someone with you.
Same here..same here...i too was tricked into a job in Toronto in 1976....back then jobs were advertising in Newspapers..then a phonecall. Then the address ..once you realize it is a faulty address ..you were being followed...Thank God my boyfriend met up with me at the address....I would have been gone....My boyfriend knocked the crap out of the so called interviewer.
I was near tears throughout this whole video but when they said the mother committed suicide, I couldn't keep it in any longer. What a nightmare. That horrible man essentially took two lives. I understand how Kelly must've felt, being a mother myself. How do people go on after such tragedy? I hope both women are finally at peace. 😥
This one was super sad! I don't live but maybe 20 minutes from Tullahoma and I remember this one like it happened yesterday 🙏💞 My son is a Tennessee State Trooper and when he works something like these cases it break's his heart 💔
Megan was a beautiful girl who had so much to live for...The disturbing thing is that Donnie was looking for a victim, "any victim" to rape & kill. How does a man with 21 felony convictions walk freely in the society? My heart goes out to Kelly who couldn't live with the loss of her daughter & killed herself. RIP Megan & Kelly!
@@aridyaacob3172 Probably that is the reason he was out, and that shouldn't be allowed. If someone has that long of a criminal record for violent crimes, then they shouldn't be able to just make a deal and snitch, to be able to go free. It was such a senseless, preventable crime.
According to the story he often claimed to be a police informant. I never saw where he actually was a police informant. I may have missed something though.
He should have got the DP, especially after his history. People as sick as him serve no purpose or use to the world whatsoever, and evil like that should just be gotten rid of. He had no issue doing what he did to Megan, so the state should have returned the favour.
I absolutely agree. Why should the taxpayers have to house, clothe, and feed this animal for the rest of his miserable life? He should be put down. That is justice.
The state was why he was able to do it. He shouldn't have even been on the street. SA (and predation of children) should carry sentences akin to those for murder.
I watched a video where someone got 3 life sentences for attempted murder of a young man, I believe, plus some other charge like kidnapping maybe. I can't remember the case sorry. it was like, kind of ridiculous tbh in the context of other sentences. How can he get 3 life sentences for a failed murder while people commit serial atrocities including murder and only get 8 years? It's a joke
You both are working so hard for the true crime community and raising awareness. Thank you babes. One thing that didn’t sit well with me was Naomi’s statement to police about ‘not liking’ the murdered woman she gave rides to. Megan had just been brutally killed, and Naomi’s only words were, “I don’t like her”?? 🚩 Naomi made that statement *before* her very own significant other was arrested & charged for Megan’s heinous murder. *RIP* Megan
I think she either knew what happened or knew that her disgusting bf was obsessed with Megan… but she knew something that made her angry enough to make such a horrible comment to police after she was just murdered
Can you imagine what type of Nurse Naomi is?🙆🏼♀️ Cleary she made those rude statements because she knew her bf was making comments that he liked Megan. Something along those lines. Disgusting humans. And Megan most certainly have her life to save others & he definitely would have done it again.
Wow…. Throughout all of the interviews, from the day she called into the news station asking for the public’s help in finding her daughter’s killer, you can tell the mother was broken inside. I don’t believe it was the death of her daughter that ate at her, I believe it was knowing how she died, alone, humiliated, and fighting and/or pleading for her life. I’m a guy, but I assume the way she died is most women’s greatest fear, and to think her baby endured that, was too much for her to handle. I just hope her other 3 children don’t hold any resentment towards their mom because this was too much for her to handle. I can imagine they still need/want their mother around, this was too much for her heart to handle.
Of course it’s her daughter’s rape and murder that she couldn’t bare to live with. Regardless of how her daughter, or ANY human being, for that matter, suffered prior to being murdered. When a loved one is murdered, it doesn’t matter how the murder took place because murder is murder. It’s the loss of the loved one forever that causes the heartbreak. Rape or not, burnt or not, doesn’t change a anything. At the end of the day, it’s about your loved one never coming back due to murder that eats at any human being. Murder is the most horrific, period, regardless of how a person is murdered.

My sister died 33 years ago. I know both my mom and my dad were heartbroken and still are, but so glad that the were able to deal with their grief for my brother and me. This poor family!
He shouldn’t be given the option to plead guilty to avoid the death penalty. The DA should have rejected the plea deal and gone ahead to trial in order to obtain the death penalty. The evidence was overwhelming and he definitely would have been found guilty and then he could have fried like he deserved for what he did.
Wow, didn’t seem like he was gonna get away with any of it, it was just a matter of time. And Megan’s poor mother. What a horrible case this all was, so many hearts broken.
That made me tear up when I heard her mother took her own life as well. I can't imagine the level of sadness that mother had to experience every single day without it going away, ever. Hopefully they're together now ♥️

As I was driving away I saw a man standing on the side of the house. This is why I wholeheartedly believe and the 2nd amendment. Lesson learned, never again. My condolences 🙏🏾
Years ago, a friend who had an interview with a potential job begged me to come with her because she was unsure about the guy based on her phone conversation. I went with her; the guy was so scary, I was glad I went with her. Months later we saw in the newspaper he had shot and killed someone in an apparent break-in. In hindsight, I realise we were in danger. RIP Sharpton family
how incredibly tragic for her siblings to lose their mom too. 😩 I was fully expecting the wife to be involved from the second it was said she didn't even like her. genuinely surprised she wasn't.

She may have been the catalyst as to why he chose her. If she constantly slated her and bad mouthed her, he probably thought "yeah, she sounds perfect" and picked her because of this. I still believe the wife is involved to some degree. Even inadvertently.

Unfortunately the justice system favours, sexually motivated criminals, murderers and incompetent police work. The world needs to have a moral conversation on the death penalty for all proven sexual crimes, murders etc. It's incredible in how many cases, how much of it was preventable, especially by police. My BFF was stabbed to death by her 16 year old son. I got to mention that playing it over and over in my mind is all consuming. The details I know about what she went through isn't something I can ignore and the guilt of not being able to save her and thinking I could, is just relentless. I feel for the mother of Megan, what she went through, knowing what her daughter went through, makes it understandable that she took her own life. I hope they both have found peace and their spirits are free.

The brutality of this crime is just mind boggling! Also, it broke me seeing her mum accepting the diploma on her behalf and everyone standing up to show their respect.
Her mother committing suicide was just devastating for me to handle. It reminds me of a school shooting a father also committed suicide after 2 years (I think) of the shooting. I cry every time I see parents getting so emotional and I don’t have kids. I just feel their pain. 😢

Interview with her mom during the graduation ceremony has me in tears. So, so sad. Terrific, respectful work as always.
He had "21 PREVIOUS FELONY CONVICTIONS"🤬
He should have been behind bars long before he racked up that many felonies!! Absolutely ridiculous that someone would be allowed to walk the streets with that many felonies!!!
Felonies are not all created equal. Be wiser with your words. You cannot lock someone up for life without just cause. Please list all these felonies...
Basically police and judges dont care. They hate women
If you vote liberal then you are indirectly responsible for these creeps roaming the streets when they should be permanently behind bars.
@@staceystrukel1917 rape conviction should keep one in jail for a long time
To the Sharpton family - I am truly sorry for your loss may they both rest in peace xxx
Absolutely 🙏🏽🥺
As a young woman I was tricked by a man offering a "job". My advice, never ever go alone to a job interview, especially a private arrangement, always take someone else with you and if you feel uneasy or unsure about a situation then don't go, or leave immediately. You can always find another job, your life is irreplaceable. Not everyone is good or honest and it's not always obvious that someone's intentions are bad or selfish and evil.
Always keep yourself safe and please take someone with you.
Go MC Donald's Instead.....😢 just saying b safe 🙏🏿
Same here..same here...i too was tricked into a job in Toronto in 1976....back then jobs were advertising in Newspapers..then a phonecall. Then the address ..once you realize it is a faulty address ..you were being followed...Thank God my boyfriend met up with me at the address....I would have been gone....My boyfriend knocked the crap out of the so called interviewer.
There have been other private jobs offered and 2 went. Death occurred. More than 1 person does not mean someone will not carry through their plans.
@@ingridwootton-mota231 that is terrifying !!!!
@@hazelhadley-britt6396 the best thing to do is obviously look up the address and ask for a name.

Can't imagine the pain and sadness Megan's mother must have gone through. To hear it eventually consumed her is so tragic.
Hearing that her mother took her life broke my heart. As a mother myself, I know I couldn't go forward without my daughter neither 💔
This one was super sad! I don't live but maybe 20 minutes from Tullahoma and I remember this one like it happened yesterday 🙏💞 My son is a Tennessee State Trooper and when he works something like these cases it break's his heart 💔
Hi, how’re you doing
@@mikedenison121 Why do you keep posting this creepy comment?
Megan was a beautiful girl who had so much to live for...The disturbing thing is that Donnie was looking for a victim, "any victim" to rape & kill. How does a man with 21 felony convictions walk freely in the society? My heart goes out to Kelly who couldn't live with the loss of her daughter & killed herself. RIP Megan & Kelly!
Maybe because he was a police informant?
What a despicable excuse for a man he was. Utterly disgraceful an yes he had immunity because he was a police informant 😤
@@hotmess2766 Yeah? And he didn't inform on himself?!!! Fucker!!!!!! Piece of shit!!!!
Very true.
It's a joke
Most killers are cowards, and don't want the same as what they gave, they whimper away like scared rats.
*RIP* Megan
Yes, I felt the same way. Either she knew something and was trying to distance herself or she's just an awful, awful person.
I think she either knew what happened or knew that her disgusting bf was obsessed with Megan… but she knew something that made her angry enough to make such a horrible comment to police after she was just murdered
Yes, it seems cold and heartless. One can always just say "I didn't really know her very well " instead.
Can you imagine what type of Nurse Naomi is?🙆🏼♀️ Cleary she made those rude statements because she knew her bf was making comments that he liked Megan. Something along those lines. Disgusting humans. And Megan most certainly have her life to save others & he definitely would have done it again.
Yes sick humans with they mouth 👄
I hope they realize our mothers are just humans with limits too ❤️💙💛
This is so true it would of been horrible for kelly to live with...
Now the remaining three have been raped and assaulted with losing their mother. I feel so horribly sick for this family. So, so, sad.
Saddest thing ever…
Megan was my 2nd mom thank you so much for spreading her story!!!! We were so close and yes that’s her in my pfp my other mom and my best friend. We miss her to this day and i will never forget the day i found out my best friend died❤️😭
These killers who make a plea deal to spare THEIR life make me sick.
This guy was truly a major derelict creep and a career criminal. He should of gotten the death penalty for the sheer brutality of this crime.
Your channel is a breath of fresh air to the True Crime genre. You bring new cases that are well researched handled with respect.

It is so sad when a person close to the victim commit suicide because of losing their loved one. Megan's case was tragic enough, but Kelly taking her own life shortly after because of Megan's death was just heartbreaking.
My heart goes out to this family. I cant imagine what they have gone through. The devastation of a family member being murdered and then to lose another family member to suicide is beyond heartbreaking. I hope and pray that this family finds some kind of peace and comfort. Thank you for sharing this video.
Beautiful comment, thank you.
It's sad that the mother left her other three children, I can't imagine their grief
I can only imagine that her grief was so great and all-consuming that she could not go on living.
Lmao then it's worse because now he has to wait to go to hell
Often times plea deals like that are done in consultation with a victim's family to spare them sitting through a trial and all of the details
One of the saddest stories , man I don't feel good after her mother gone, I'm so mad
Hopefully they're together now ♥️
Your video are amazing and absolutely professional . You do justice to the victim's friends and family. I love your channel . Keep up the good work champs
Years ago when I was younger I responded to a Craigslist ad for an personal assistant position. When I got to the house and got out of my car my 6th sense kicked in that something wasn’t right. The placed looked abandoned. I took 5 steps and immediately ran back to my car. I believe this could have very well been my fate had I proceeded into the house. As I was driving away I saw a man standing on the side of the house. This is why I wholeheartedly believe and the 2nd amendment. Lesson learned, never again. My condolences 🙏🏾
Wow, that's so spooky, thank god for your intuition.

I was fully expecting the wife to be involved from the second it was said she didn't even like her. genuinely surprised she wasn't.
That nasty creature got her karma.....her husband and the father of her children a rapist and murderer.......she will never live it down and i hope she feels shame over her words about Megan, whom she hardly knew.

She may have been the catalyst as to why he chose her. If she constantly slated her and bad mouthed her, he probably thought "yeah, she sounds perfect" and picked her because of this. I still believe the wife is involved to some degree. Even inadvertently.

There is no pain like that of losing a child.💔
agreed - it is life shattering
there is a saying that “no parent should ever have to bury their child”.
So dam sad.
Any parent would gladly take their place - I apologize for how messed up this next comment will be - It is one of life's most unfair requests to ask a parent to continue to live after having to bury their child. Especially a child that has barely experienced a life. I wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy.
Imagine the pain the kids felt when their mom abandoned them forever.
Another amazing coverage. So many well edited scenes and wonderfully put together.
Such a sad story. RIP Megan 💕

This case is heartbreaking, but what broke my heart more is hearing about her mum! My heart goes out to the family, this sick man should be charged with killing Kelly, because if he didn't do, what he did, they would still both be here😡
She had such kind eyes, a welcoming smile, and a caring heart. 😔

Wasn't she having an affair though? That's despicable.
@@Lotsielots I can certainly think of far more despicable behaviors. One of which is to speak ill of the dead.

So true. Why do young ladies have to keep dyeing for monsters to finally be put away. The courts are not doing enough. This is a huge conversation the world needs to start having among each other. Why do we have to sacrifice our bodies and lives to keep our communities safe. That should be a job for the police and courts.

Hi, how’re you doing
Unfortunately the justice system favours, sexually motivated criminals, murderers and incompetent police work. The world needs to have a moral conversation on the death penalty for all proven sexual crimes, murders etc. It's incredible in how many cases, how much of it was preventable, especially by police. Can't express the amount of concern I have when you see people being arrested multiple times for similar violent crimes that eventually exculate to murder.
It's the lawmakers who are not tough on crime and the people who vote for them they vote if they like or dislike the person not on the issues the represent unfortunately
Such a horrifying story and that ending with her mother tragic dead just really made me feel sad..

This one of those gut punch stories with multiple sad circumstances. My heart truly goes out to that family
Okey dokey
I haven’t been this distressed and upset about a case in a very long time. I’m crying.
Sure you were big girl🙄
I'm convinced once a person tries to abduct another, their rabid for life. They are solidly wired that way. Keep them out of free society period. Too bad, so sad. Not to be further mistreated, but to keep citizens safer.

Rest in peace Megan. Such a tragic, horrendous end to a young life. An unfinished life set to help and aid the sick. All of this tragedy compounded by the sad ending of her mother's life, likely connected to the grief of losing her daughter. Evil, evil, evil. I am so glad they got him.
