      I was able to make 2 practice molds, then a full set of 7 molds with the bottles in the link. My problem is, that one of my metal dice fell of the glue before it set. I have one bad mold in the set of 7 and I dont have enough rubber to make more.

    Only drawback is that if you step on the d4 it does a d8 damage instead of an actual d4 damage

      Heh thank you :) I'm happy that everyone has been so appreciative of my content.
      I totally get it though. Most others are selling their dice, so they don't want to give away their secrets. It's a hobby for me right now unless something changes, so I actively WANT others to try it and we can talk about it haha :) But I think even if I sell mine in the future, I'd show the process, because I wouldn't ever have gotten to a point where I COULD sell without everyone's support from my tutorials :)

And some people make enough money from this hobby to ACTUALLY live off of, so technically they really could “get a life” from something fun like this! No need to be rude about it. ^_^

    When I was a kid (well 16-18), I had a set of similar sharp edge dice. Then one day I stepped on my 4 sided die. Yeah, I'll never own another.

    Step one: find pretty looking galaxy.
    Step two: squish it through paper towel. Be careful with radiation and black holes.
    Step three: Make the dice.

      If it's a particularly dense galaxy, you might have to use 2 paper towels.

    I love how it looks like there's two different shades of resin! I also personally love naked gemstone dice. Really just lets you enjoy that light refraction from the inside!

      I agree! The colors change depending on what material they are sitting on when the light can come in so clearly that way. It makes a gorgeous effect :)

    Silicone molds degrade slightly each time they are used.
    You get a lot of castings but they definitely do not last forever.

      True, you can get probably 100 or more is what I am told before you need to remake some. I am nowhere near that yet, so no worries, but this is a great point for others to know :)

      @@Rybonator even if you got to the point where they've been used to the point where they're too degraded to use, you could probably use one of the sets that you weren't happy with/could stand to get scratched when you're cutting new molds to make more. alternatively you could use the same metal dice that you used for these since they aren't too badly scratched.

    I'd love to see yellow or gold numbering, it would look really nice with the blue! It would be a contrasting hue and brightness, plus it would resemble lapis lazuli if you're a fan of that. Can't wait to see the finished product!

    Can't believe I just simply tumbled on to your channel. I never had any table top experience nor played anything related to it, the closet I came to Table top is by watching Totalbiscuit and his tabletop simulator and that was years ago. I may not have any experience to table top nor need any dice in my life but your amazing craftsmanship is something to admire.

    You should do a bright white for the numbering
    The next color should be like a swirly mix of orange and red, _roarange_
    Also love the sharp dice, not only do they look aesthetically pleasing, *_they somehow make rolling 1s more painful_*

      I can look into making that :) If you are unaware, there currently exists a facebook group called Dice Making Discoveries that is all about dice making. Some people make some really spectacular stuff on there!

    If you cut the bottom off of the cups you could push them down further for a slightly better seal so you don't have to use tape. Absolutely gorgeous dice btw. Awesome work!

    Absolutely gorgeous! They remind me of blue tinted goldstone :D And that dark color is like seeing the starlit sky out in the desert! Beautiful~
    I think a pewter numbering would look lovely against that clear blue, or a platinum (bright white silver)

    These look AMAZING !
    It's such a nice blue with the silver glitter; purple, silver, white, or green would suit the numbering very well. Keeping the color palette in the cool tones.

      Plain ol' white would look pretty great I bet :) Silver or purple might get lost, and make it harder to read, but they would fit super well with the theme.

    I play pathfinder and dnd. My dad has a MASSIVE dice set that ive slowly inherited half of because we both are guilty of constantly getting new sets and i love the difference designs you can get and want to make my own :D

    Your videos are always inspiring. Just got my first moulds done and got some new resin, cant wait. First batch with was great but the resin leaves a slight tackiness when dried, why i got new stuff.
    Keep making them, would love to see a video on removing bubbles without the machine.

      It's difficult to get bubbles out without a pressure pot, but I have had some luck before. I'll experiment to see if I can get a good way and if so, I'll show it :) Thanks for watching!

    if I don't use a pressure pot, is there any way to get fewer bubbles in the dice?

      So you can wait for the bubbles to rise in your cup for about 10 minutes, and then pop some of them with brief pass with a lighter, and that will pop a large amount of them. It won't get all of them, for that you really need a pressure pot, but it get's a good amount! I have made clear dice without the pot before, sometimes it is just luck.

    Pressure has been proven to work better than vacuum. Plus it doesn't overflow

      I like using my vacuum for silicone, but I do recognize that pressure works as well. It's just quiter and so it makes it a whole lot easier to set up, and much more pleasant.

      I have used one of those as well :) It was very hit or miss for me, but it was SO fast, that I still do from time to time.
