If you played this game trying to never shoot anyone so you can get the best score, this final mission is extremely satisfying. It's like the game telling you "oooh, I know you want to shoot people with no mercy, go ahead and enjoy this."

To be fair, that funeral home isn't well-designed for wheelchair accessibility, literally no ramps there whatsoever, not sure why they have so many stairs inside the main hall, but yeah it was stupid of him to follow 47.

It was all staged, it was a coordinated effort between Diana, 47, and key members of the ICA to root out internal corruption from the organization, and end the human cloning project. After the dust cleared 47 and Diana got right back to business as usual, hence the current series of games taking place *after* absolution.

I was too. He cursed again in one of the mission briefings in Hitman Absolution in the mission Rosewood where he wrote in the notebook (briefing menu) "Damn you, Diana. You ask too much of me." This was when 47 was tasked to get Victoria out of Rosewood due to Wade's henchmen attacking the orphanage and 47 got frustrated when the elevator failed and needed to search for new fuses. Absolution was ONE WHOLE big contract.

CN47 was the same. You go back to the asylum in Romania where 47 was made and kill a load of clone brothers, the number 48's. Ort-Meyer had made the 48's to be superior to 47, and while they may have possessed some superior qualities to 47, their lack of free will and inability to think for themselves was a serious flaw. 47 wipes the floor with them and leaves their bodies littering the asylum floor, then snaps Ort-Meyer's neck!

Nicholas' Trombone - Contracts not, actually. Sure, you could just shoot your way through, but you do get a rating and it's very much possible, though quite difficult, especially on your first few tries, to get Silent Assassin.
There is no point of ratings due to everybody is a target, and there are no disguises, so you can't get anything else but silent assassin.
Although, the rating system is working in the memory, you need special tools to see that. From there it turns out that you actually wouldn't get silent assassin, because the wheelchair is also a witness which you can't kill, only if you use the stairs to make he kill himself by trying to roll down and fail.

But the point of that sentence was about he's lying. Diana had just stabbed him before and while he is telling that, the camera shows her directly. She was supposed to be their hired gun, of course he doesn't tell the story "Can you see that woman over there?".

This is maybe the most memorable ending of any game I've ever played. I remember playing this with Xbox and almost missed the very ending. Then noticed that controller had occasional rumbles that hinted that 47 is actually live.
Can't say the same for the pc ending. I thought the series was dead. When I saw Hitman Absolution coming out I thought it was a a remake of the first game

The one thing that always bothered me about this was having to kill the reporter. I always felt sorry for him, just a reporter who ends up with the story about 47, and you're listening to his surprised reactions in every pre-mission cutscene as he's told about 47. It makes perfect sense 47 would have to kill him to keep his identity a secret, but if you catch up to him here, he begs for his life, pleading his case as a reporter, promising 47 he won't tell anyone... it's rather ironic my favorite Hitman game ends with the only required kill in the series I didn't want to make.
See what he holds in his hand. Audio recorder. He says he won't tell anyone? Sure.
You can't trust reporters not to report, plus he was against 47.
Oh, he'd definitely talk, no doubt about it. 47 has no choice here. It just jars me a bit that it's one of the only times in the entire series I can think of that you have to kill an innocent person who got caught up in everything.
Guess that's true but he's not the only innocent person he killed or sedated...

If I had a nickel for every time Diana poisoned 47 in order to make people think she’s on their side but in reality 47 ends up fine and kills them, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
This is one of the greatest final missions of any video game, it really is unexpected and so satisfying & so well done.
We played this in high school on computer class in 2016. I came to final of game with my friend and as you know, my friend thought that Hitman passed away. Even though I played game for the first time, I thought it was impossible for 47 to die and I started pressing all the keys on the keyboard and agent stood up. What was a goosebump for me!

There are 3 outcomes:
1-The antidote doesn't work so 47 dies (not sure how)
2-47 dies in the crossfire because the player doesn't use his head.
3-This
Antidote always works. You don’t know it unless you try to move as you hear a heartbeat in the background. Fail to get up and 47 is lowered into the crematorium.

@@Takue_ - I don’t know if there’s a specific button or that you need to hit several to “wake up.” I remember just pressing buttons and wiggling sticks on the controller once I noticed it made it look like I was starting to come out of it. 47 is essentially fighting his way out of a sedated state.
If you look, you will realize that in all the old Hitman games the final missions always end in massacre XD

In hitman 1, you had assassinate your evil bro clones lol. In absolution, you COULD choose to assassinate every soldier. Though I didn't do that because it made the game harder.
And in hitman 3 you can kill all the providence members on the train
Man i remember me and my brother were crying at the end (we were 10 years old) until one of us accidentally wiggled the stick and the screen shook, so we kept doing it. Until he woke up and we went crazy. The nostalgia high is real
I always thought how cute 47 has a little pet bird but at this scene I realized that bird was just another tool of his to alarm him of intruders like miners used to alarm them of shifting rocks and cave-ins.
This game changed my life as a kid when it was first released, the first time I allowed the credits to roll with me in the coffin assuming I was dead but the next day in school, my friend said didn't you move the controller and rise up? I was like WHAT! NO WAY! I immediately returned home to replay the mission and to my amazement it was true. It blew my mind in terms of the story and how a twist can be in games, not just movies. Fantastic experience which I'll never forget.
this is hands down the best ending for a videogame and the most ingenious use of the final credits.

I think it was a syringe, which would make sense. Diana uses a syringe of some chemical formula that makes his heart rate slow down or puts him in a coma or something along the lines of that, and in the credits we see her place his guns on his chest aswell as kissing him. This possibly iz planned to pass some antidote, via lipstick or mouth, to 47 to make him wake up from this state

@AGENT 47 it has to be dark, that story is flashbacks in 47's head, cover blowing mechanics are good, more realistic, you have syringe for distracting, which is big improvement compared to Codename 47 and Silent Assasin... slaying a dragon map isnt that huge and rat poison way is quite entertaining

Apparently you CAN get Silent Assassin in this mission, you wanna know how? You can kill everyone, yes, but there's still 1 person alive.
...The wheelchair. That's right. So, in order to "kill" it and get the SA ranking, you have to make the guy follow you down some stairs in the building. This way, he kills himself along with the chair. Very interesting.

@@theyapconnoisseur The game always keeps the rating tracked while on-mission, Requiem is no different: you can use the Statman tracker to check live stats of your playtime. You don't get a rating screen at the end but it's still received.

I realized he could wake up as his heart began pumping and a clue that Diana actually used that lipstick to wake him up. I literally smashed all the buttons on my keyboard to wake him up but it didn't work. After a quick google search, I learned that you need to press the movement buttons rapidly to wake him up. I KNEW HE WOULDN'T DIE!!

Best ending mission in hitman series and probably will be forever. Sorry hunter and hunted was great but this is something else and couldn't be replaced no matter what.

7:14 When 47 said "No! I'll keep it!" You can tell that the agressive way he said it was intentional (Because of the subtitles obviously) But you can also see that he regrets it a bit on his next sentence.

The guy from Providence didn’t ask Diana to kill 47. He wanted to hire the ICA, specifically Diana and 47, to kill the Shadow Client. Big difference.

Helix - 47 only killed 2 members of Providence, Soders and Yamazaki. The Providence guy in the cutscene even says there won't be any consequences for those kills.

I love it as it exposes 47's true feelings towards Diana. She's the only person he trusts, and he feels that she's the only person who cares about him. He's so caught off guard by her "betrayal" that he loses his temper.

The story of this game puts hollywood movies to rest, the soundtrack is something out of this world i dont even know how Jesper thought about that, and more, you're able to plan and execute everything the way you like. Blood Money is simply untouchable.
