There's something about playing as Agent 47 and checking into hotels. One of gaming's pleasures.
This is by far one of the best missions in hitman history
"A new life" is better for me.
I find "A Dance with the Devil" better.

You can leave W2000 sniper in the ICA crate inside 47’s room 703 and thus you won’t be penalized with custom weapon retrieval. You have to unpack it first and then place in in the crate
Or unpack it at the exit area and pick up the diamond briefcase and walk off... did this on expert not professional but i guess it works also :)

@Light Wolf Yeah the timing of the elevator is actually hard cause in the old hitman games like this ,everything was moving in real time ,unlike in the new ones which certain events will only occur if u get near or affect them.
@Light Wolf This is one of the easiest, you kill the first two targets in the elevator, then sneak into the hotel room to snipe the third one.
there is a way not to loose the W2000 sniper, and is to go to 47´s room and leave it in the ICA box. great mission
Or go to the alley by the limo escape, unpack it, get the diamonds briefcase, and pick up the unpacked sniper rifle

I love how i did this completely differently i just went to floor 7 waited for schmutz guy to arrive. Snuck into his room while the doors were open killed schmutz then i sniped the scientist from schmutz's room went down to the casino got a waiter suit left my guns somewhere secret so the guard wouldnt get them when he searched me poisoned the last guys drink and left
would love to see a remastered version of this game
this game is great in its own way. some games don't deserve remaster
Imagine playing this game with todays gameplay and 4k graphics, that would be so awesome! although I agree with Jt, this game will always be awesome even if we never get to see a remaster.

One thing I noticed about the South African person here is that he looks awfully similar to Dimitri Rascalov. Hairstyle and stuff. And he also is the same as Dimitri when he died.
I wish they'd remaster this level in Hitman 3. It's like Paris where it's such a perfect Hitman location and just gives off that amazing vibe.

Just for the future, any weapons you want to save, drop them in the IRA Box - I think it's in your room in this mission - helps minimise loss just a tad.

i remember being fast enough and getting to a hotel room and killing the guy getting out of his car. at least im pretty sure that i did this, though you had to rush it

Welcome to Vegas, double oh seven!
1. Strangle 1st guy and take diamond briefcase.
2. Go to your room floor (7th) and drop briefcase in your room 703. Wait until 2nd guy goes to his room (Same 7th floor).
3. Suit as Hotel guy. (From the guy who smokes in balcony)
4. Go to his room and plant mine on his briefcase.
5. Wait until he comes back and take it to Arab guy at Casino.
6. Go nearby them in Casino and Detonate the bomb.
7. Go to ground floor Security room and Steal Video tape.
8. Exit with Diamonds. DONE!

Very good walkthrough of a tedious waiting mission but it would be a benefit to know how you upgraded that W2000 sniper rifle (i had to pick the silencer 2 and the largest magnification thats enough for a decent one shot kill - i bet the lighter frame helps against sway of scope? Anyway the only mission i used a sniper rifle and it was worth it.
Only thing wrong with this game was the lack of levels....

I went to shultz room and planted the mine in the dna case. Shultz took it to sheikh and then to the scientist. I thought once the case blasted the scientist shultz and sheikh would shoot each other. That is what happens when i dress as shultz and the case blasts. The sheikh runs and the guards shoot me.

In the curtains down mission. U can find a keycard in a table and use it to open a door on that room where u find the lighthouse card.

+buckn5 It's pretty hard yes, also be sure to upgrade the silencer and scope on the sniper or you'll have a hard time hitting the target and get some unwanted attention. Found that out the hard way earlier.

+buckn5 The White House one is quite easy to get Silent Assassin once you get the first disguise. Getting the first disguise is probably the part people find hardest.
i think that death on mississipi is the hardest one because it has too many targets.

If you unpack the sniper in the alley and holster it he will carry it with his left hand then if you pick up the diamonds he will switch to his right hand but wont drop it
