A lot of changes in auto body design were made for the sake of "safety" - ignoring the stark fact that anytime a person gets in a machine that goes faster than running speed it is inherently dangerous, never mind smooth door handles, seat belt retractors etc. If safety were really a priority, we would be more strict on who drives, penalties for dangerous driving, and good road design. So strange are they not realising that their fake safety rides them for their own self cheating eventually. In a lot their passive safety and changes in car construction just to earn money to satisfy their own greedynes. So sadly about road accidents. Thing is that each driver even if he or she don't know how to drive car in any case pays money, should to buy car, pay for maintenance, pay taxes... pay penalties... and these explain a lot. Follow the money and find roots. A lot of unperfect things and problems from global greed.
