    Have been waiting for this one. Another awesome video and was pumped to see it compared to the ruby. Thanks for another great video, always my go to ball review before buying

    Great review per usual! Love this ball thus far. 726 out of box and has been with me all week for my league nights.

    I really enjoy watching your review videos. While you throw the ball much different than I do, it does help me make a decision about which ball or balls I want to buy. I love how in-depth you get about the specs, who you think that ball works for, and the comparisons to other balls and brands. Thanks!

    About time! I had the Fatal Venom and it was so so. I was curious to look see if i should get this and put it in the line up with my Supra Rally or just leave it out. Thank you for the video review

    Very nice video. That MF is nice! I immediately thought of the Ruby but also it's black counterpart. I was thinking of grabbing one or the other to have with the Ruby.

    • @bowlersparadise2255
      @bowlersparadise2255  3 місяці тому +1

      I personally wouldn't carry this one AND the ruby, but I could see how a medium rev rate player could get away with it. I'd probably want the Ruby to be pin up to open up the lane and the Hyper pin down to roll it more, or you could just keep them at different surfaces too.
      The easy answer would be if you like the shape, I'd say give it a shot and report back!

      @@bowlersparadise2255 thanks Coach, def noted. If I were to grab one it would be to add to a collection of tools and swap out when needed. They have that "must have" look 😁

    Excellent review, Ben. I bought this ball for my wife to replade an old, old ball she loved.
    Although I don’t drill my equipment, I learned to do my own layouts and became familiar with the Dual Angle system. I noticed your ball's Pin looked about one and a half inches to the CG, like my wife's.
    Question: Is there any advantage/disadvantage to having the Pin to CG longer (from the factory) -- like 3 inches?
    I usually ask for at least 3" on my new ball orders, but forgot to specify this time.

    • @bowlersparadise2255
      @bowlersparadise2255  3 місяці тому +1

      There used to be, some people still think there is an impact.
      I don’t think it matter much at all. Once the option to have 3oz of side weight came in, it basically became a non-variable.

    Id really like to see ben do a tutorial video on something simple like increasing rev rates. I enjoy his reviews and find it easy to listen to compared to most others.

      We may integrate some of that over the summer when I have some more time. Receiving 8+ balls per month to review takes a big bite out of the schedule!

    Can you demo the track cypher as a straighter ball when you get a chance? I know it’s not a swinger but I’m interested in it for straight angles.

    As a 2 hander who throws a lot of cross brand balls would this hyper venom be a good ball as a step down from the hater when I need something cleaner? I really like the low rg low diff of the gear core.

    • @bowlersparadise2255
      @bowlersparadise2255  3 місяці тому +4

      Yes. 100% yes.
      I didn’t think about that 1-2 combo but I couldn’t agree more.

    I have a tropical surge and a fast pitch in my arsenal I would like a 3 ball but I don’t want it to react anything like my other two what ball would you recommend for a rev dominant player

    How do you see this compared to the Rip Cord Launch?

    • @bowlersparadise2255
      @bowlersparadise2255  3 місяці тому

      The Ripcord is way more core dominant to my eye. Covers are of similar strength, but the ripcord wants to roll as soon as it hits the lane. My personal opinion is that the Hyper Venom is way more usable than the Launch for most players.

    Would you prefer the hyper venom or the DV8 troublemaker Pearl ? Which one has the edge

    • @bowlersparadise2255
      @bowlersparadise2255  2 місяці тому

      There’s not really an edge between one or the other. Troublemaker pearl is more core dominant and slightly stronger overall, but they’re both solid pieces.

  • @primaljackal

    It looks like this one needs a little surface or a hybrid cover all together. It seems really tough to get to the pocket correctly and consistently with it.

    • @bowlersparadise2255
      @bowlersparadise2255  3 місяці тому +1

      I hit it with some surface and it definitely helped open up the lane a bit more, but it was still pretty similar front to back. Just needs some friction to work with.

    What do you mean if you don’t like tricking the ball you’re better with the venom over the IQ?

  • @TenBack10
    @TenBack10 3 місяці тому

    Disagree. I can throw this ball from everywhere. Have never thrown a more angular ball. In the oil this ball still goes through the pins. But good review otherwise
