I like to imagine team tadpole trying to regroup to take down the Durge in the option 3 ending. The last roll of the dice against that possible future.
If you've built Astarion properly, even without ascending he can kill anything in one round if he gets initiative. Especially if you make him half-illithid.
I always thought that was an interesting idea if Durge was a full companion. Similar to how Shadowheart has dialogue code that makes her kill or spare the nightsong. Depending on how you treated Durge, you either fight him for control of the netherstones at the end, or he gives them to you.
@@molealtoif you build any character right, really. Any class can kill other in one round or at least decide the outcome at first round (sorcerer with empowered hold person, warlock just teleporting and blasting, fighter action surging and attacking 6-7 times with GWM/sharpshooter etc.) Tbh rogue gets the least amount of potential if that's straight up fight, as you only need to give it disadvantage to make it useless.
I hate that, if you ask the butler if he thinks Bhaal would let you spare your partner he says yes. Only for that not to be an option, was so disappointed since Minthara literally wanted to rule together.
Well, in this ending you will kill your lover, cuz in the last cutscene the narrator says "you are the last living being", you just postponed that. Remember, in this ending you will also kill Scratch and Owlbear, for the exact same reason :/
Bhaal is by far the most stupid out of all the gods. Like... when nobody is left... all the souls are gone lmfao. And there wont be more to gather. It would be like yes, he achieved his goal, which makes him a bit better than the other gods, who dont get through with their lessons and actions anymore cuz literally all their worshippers are dead. But thats literally it. Only one person is left that will also probably end themselves afterwards out of insanity. Which then also means: no worshippers of bhaal
That’s where you misunderstand bhaal, he doesn’t care about worship, he doesn’t care about who or what is left. All he cares about is murder, not torture, not gore, not any display of sacrifice or love for him. Kill, kill often, and most importantly kill in abundance. Thats what Orin couldn’t understand as well
I mean... from our perspective, yeah, since we don't really want things to end. But Bhaal is a god, he likely isn't working with the same logic. If he murders everyone then perhaps he can finally rest knowing his work is done. Like I agree he's a lunatic and evil af but i guess if your vibe is murder, then everybody getting murdered is just how it goes. Otherwise you're just sitting around until people stop dying or die some other way lol Plus the way they describe the Dark Urge, I'm guessing Bhaal is not a "long term" kind of guy - if he gets pleasure from murder, he's just going to do it and enjoy himself and probably die after everything is dead.
Wish there was a ending where if you did this with gale he blow up before you did your act idk seems like the thing he would do if he was there be interesting how the different reactions are like the act 2 ending
You're right, I haven't thought of that. All the characters are just standing there and watching as you proceed to ruin the world, thinking, "Man, I wish there was something we could do about that.", when there's a way Gale could prevent it all.
For me the saddest moment is when you are romancing Minthara and are letting her go, because when she teleports down, you can see her face showing deeply sorrow and heartbroken. Other lover's reaction is just meh, compared to that. Mintnara's face is more true and realistic at that moment, which adds to the gravity of that moment.
Thanks for sharing that! I'm also a big fan of Minty. She always appears that she wants you to take over the brain and "rule the world" with you, but I guess when she's in love with you, she realizes you are the first thing she wants :)

I'm not sure but i think its one of the Vempren's Other Head mod (Looks like Daenestra, which is one of my go to when using Vempren's face). From the look of it I think they're using Unique Tav's one. Vempren's other head might be possible to made into console, but the unique tav one is a bit complicated (it require quite a step when installing in PC), so I think that's the challenge for it to be made for all console imo.
I mean, you didn’t really save him. Since he didn’t ascend he is thralled, although somehow he can still talk to you after that. But just telling them to run prolongs the inevitable unalive.
