As a child I spoke Palauan fluently, I moved to the US in 2010 (10 years old) and over the years have slowly lost the language 💔 I wish there were more resources to learn Palauan again, especially because I have a one year old. I want to share our culture with him but resources for Palauan language and culture are so hard to find :(
Don't give up. That's why we have our aunties to keep us in touch with our culture. I moved almost twenty years ago and the Belau love is still strong. Will be posting more vids on Palau soon. Thanks for the comment.

As of November 1st, 2020 Palau is still not accepting tourists. They are working with Taiwan on getting group bookings into Palau soon. But as of today, no tourists are able to fly to Palau yet. Thank you

If you are looking for a career or jobs in Palau, you are better off in Germany. If you are looking for a place to go on vacation, Palau would be a great place to go for a beautiful ocean scenery. Life in Palau is not stressful. People generally work Monday to Friday and have the weekends off. Unless if your working in retail or the tourist industry, you can work a whole week. A lot of Pacific Islanders eat similar food like taro, tapioca and fish. And a lot of them cook with coconut oil. So there are some similarities. There is one thing for sure, a lot of spam and corned beef are consumed all over the pacific.

Btw since u r palauan, are the culture, food and language quite similar with some other nations from pacific islanders too ? For example samoan people.
A lot of Pacific Islanders eat similar food like taro, tapioca and fish. And a lot of them cook with coconut oil. So there are some similarities. There is one thing for sure, a lot of spam and corned beef are consumed all over the pacific.
