I don't think I've seen anyone so cool, so smooth, so talented to take so many beyond vertical drops and pretty much make all of them! If that's Jacob Turner then I'm not forgetting that name! Full send full respect! Red bull gotta get this kid, he rips on another level!! Respect ❤
Yeah, I just watch the tow part, I wrote the first comment just about JT. Wow is right, heavy stuff, make it die to me. Wouldn't be thinking about losing my hat as I was dropping into that beast Spectacular work Tim, one of my personal favourites and I may have watched perhaps all of your stuff. Thanks again. Cheers. ❤
This is beyond epic. Wow. Jacob's surfing is pure insanity. Like something out a horror movie! Big things ahead for him no doubt! And way to keep the faith young man!
It is awesome seeing Shane Dorian so stoked after all these years. His wave at around 5:57 mark was epic. Jacob Turner was on another level. Love that Kelly Slater is coaching the yutes up! Incredible video as always.
Completely epic in all aspects. Very good watch. Im a bodyboarder, so any chopes footage is a click for me. Never been & dont see myself ever goin so the footage of it is what l got. This vid was beyond excellent. Thx
The islands are really good training grounds. I had the whole east side n north shore of Oahu .. all the barrier reef breaks offering a great variety of waves to paddle da okole off foah .. North n East Kauai EVEN MORE SO !! Teahupoo is a super long Cannons .. but Cannons even moah shallow, aaah !? Braddah is representing .. He'e Nalu no ka oi !!
Absolutely amazing to watch and utterly relaxing. I would love to go to Tahiti and get out on a boat to watch in person but these videos make it almost as good! TY for showcasing this sport and lifestyle.
In 30 years of witness ing Kumbaya I've never seen anyone charge that hard over and over no matter how crazy the flogging. To put it into perspective Tom Carroll cracked his helmet there around 96' on a Jeff Hornbaker shoot with Slater and Tim Curren and I don't think he ever went back it was so traumatic. Literally have no words...
Jacob Turner, his 1st wave after the free fall was Sooo elegant & graceful, he tamed that wave. Ya have those days when your Zoned in & he was on Fire Watch this name i think
Congrats, nothing compares to the quality of that camera! If they find a way to give it internal stablization and good continuous autofocus tracking, then we would have the perfect camera for surf videography
Lucy RN here, and one more thing, working as an RN in ICU, I don't have to worry about sharks. I've taken care of the victim of a shark attack but he was lucky. He lost a lot of blood because they had to get him off his surfboard, out of the water and med-flighted to the trauma centre. He did require surgery on his arm but he didn't lose it. He told us the way he got loose from the shark was to punch it in the "nose" (not sure what piece of shark anatomy applies but that's what he said.) and kick the s*** out of it.
There are a lot of talented boogers out there with a lot of stoke but why do they remain on their bellies forever if they don't have disabilities? When I was a kid, booging, my first thought when I saw someone surfing was: I GOTTA DO *THAT*
Because just like longboarding, foiling, kite surfing or any other wave-oriented sport, it's fun and part of the complete surfing arsenal one should have.
Wow Tim amazing footage loved this video ❤❤

Another incredible video Tim! Jacob is a genuine phenom. Cool, calm and composed on every wave. Even his wipeouts were under control. Awesome!
This is beyond epic. Wow. Jacob's surfing is pure insanity. Like something out a horror movie! Big things ahead for him no doubt! And way to keep the faith young man!
Jacob is a wonderful young man and amazing surfer. Always charging and his family is as good as is gets. Wonderful family and well deserved

Wow. Is all this footage one day or multiple days?
It blew me away how many rides + heavy best downs he got. Ahhh to be 16 and fearless!!!

Unreal. Imagine the feeling of falling out of the top of the wave. Nasty.
Great slo-mo at the greatest wave in the world!

Who was that @ 5:20 with a salute to the majesty of nature?
Team Coquí Bodyboarders in the house
I'm impressed that they let a 16-year-old Hawaiian take so many waves. I guess that says something about Jacob Turner.
Love watching his clips, so awesome. Just can't stand all waves in slow motion. Avagud1
Jacob Turner flying up the ranks of non-locals at Teahupoo.
