@@carlosandleon Yep. I have one, love it but the engine is closer to a sewing machine than anything else. Doesn't bother me as I came from an Aprilia Shiver with Akrapovic that everyone talked about but got too loud for every day. Also don't think I ever hear the exhaust, come to think of it..🤔
Is this review of the 2013 Tiger 800XC? Any issues or complaints about the bike? Reliable engine? Riding modes? Parts availability and pricing? Any feedback would be great. Thanks
Great video and review. I'm not sure if you did this on purpose or not, but you have that adventure tail pack on incorrectly. It's supposed to be turned with the "Tiger" toward the rear and hook onto the rear rack using the nylon strap underneath the bag.
+ 1 for that brother, 2013 Street Triple R in white & 2011 Tiger 800 in black, both ABS, both great fun. In fact the Tiger is great fun, you can do almost everything with the Striple-R, you can do EVERYTHING with the Tiger.
Tested the 800XC and 800R ABS.......I'm 6'2" and it fits perfectly. Prefer the Roadie as I dont plan serious off road stuff.....55mpg, comfy and a great engine. Go on , get one!!!
Just put 1800 km on a rental Tiger. Is the cockpit really considered dated? It seemed really nice to me. I loved the bike, aside from a lot of buffeting at high speed.
And it fits us taller riders! At 6'3" the CB1100, FZ-09, GSX, etc are all too small seat to peg-wise. The Tiger 800 which I pick up in 2 days fits great and is really comfortable. It has a real attitude compared to the V-Strom I tested too. Great Triple engine with loads of HP and torque. That said, any bike truly is a good bike! Get out and ride!!
My latest bike even down to colour. i almost didn't buy it because i thought the clocks look too modern? I just like oldschool two clocks set up. Engine doesn't sound great for a triple, but the sheer fun of the ride more than makes up. ridden yosemite a few times also great place shame it's 5000 miles away.
had a 955 for 6 years and replaced it with an 800 but after a year I sold it an bought another 955. The 800 touches its pegs down at every roundabout and drove me mad !!!!!!!
Very nice bike. I prefer it to the behemoths, which are very frustrating to take off-road. They're the fat bastards of the bike world and have lost the plot as far as enduro usability goes.
The triumph tiger 800cc sound is so soothing and it touches my heart
sounds like a sewing machine

I'm thinking on buying a triumph tiger 800, what's your opinion about it?

Excellent. It's between the Tiger 800 and the Street Triple 675R for me... just have to decide if I want all street or dual-sport.
is the XC not necessary for offroad? Seems like the standard 800 does just fine...

Great review, and great way to present the numbers! Beautiful!

How do you like it so far?
I am about to get one.
great review Jamie! thanks! did you choose the road version of the tiger for anything in particular?
Yes, removable subframe. You have no idea how many bikes are totaled because the passenger footpeg mounting tabs were bent in a fall.

The street triple is great, but honestly for everyday use I wish id of got the tiger!
