@@jbaskinger41 Tony Stewart had been feeling ill with stomach cramps that whole weekend. He even considered a replacement driver because he was feeling that bad, but Tony decided to gut it out (quite literally), and pooped his pants during the race just to stay in it- he was in the lead, and he wasn't about to let some stomach problems ruin his day. He ended up winning that day, but declined a victory lane interview to go change into a fresh fire suit afterwards. Probably one of the strangest (and grossest) wins in NASCAR history.
In the one clip, where Kyle Busch keeps on a'truckin', even though his left front tire is blown out, and still manages to get a second place finish-I'm thinking of only one word-Incredible!!!
You know for a sport that started by liquor runners for some Saturday night fun there sure are alot of rules... NASCAR the rolling definition of irony.
@@jbaskinger41 I'm not going to pretend to know a lot about NASCAR but man they got more rules than they got racing it seems,I understand there has to be some guidelines but the rule book is thicker then the Bible, kind of takes the fun in the spirit of the sport out of it doesn't it?
@@thomaspavelko9412 I mean formula 1 and Indycar both also have thick books as well because of all the regulations to the car. In regular sports, all you have to really do is show up, pass all the drug test and follow the rules of the game.
@@jbaskinger41 yes I understand that but that euro stuff is built around tea & scones not good old American liquor running, I would like to think some of the fun back in the Smokey days was trying to get away with stuff and for the officials trying to catch them, it was kind of invented on that outlaw mentality. This is imo the craziest final lap in Nascar Racing.

If I'm being honest, I might start the race, drop to the back and loop the car without touching any walls. At least make him pay for a set of tires
@@braydenfletcher8159 That’s fair, but the owner would still get a share of the prize money. By DNSing the race, Cobb denied the owner that money.
