New Radiator Fan Clutch from 1AAuto.com trq.video/ic-1...
This video shows you how to install a new radiator fan clutch in your 1997-2003 Ford F-150. The radiator fan clutch relies on a temperature sensitive spring and a viscous fluid to operate effectively. When worn, it could stick and spin too fast, or stay loose and not spin enough. If the fan spins too early, or not enough, you could face too low or too high coolant temperatures, which could be problematic.
This repair was done on a 2003 Ford F-150 Lariat 5.4L Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1997 Ford F-150
1998 Ford F-150
1999 Ford F-150
2000 Ford F-150
2001 Ford F-150
2002 Ford F-150
2003 Ford F-150

Why drain the radiator at all?
What was the purpose in draining the coolant?
Love how I’m at work and I need to know which way it turns and I’m forced to watch 2 min of commercials
🎉🎉🎉🎉 Great job
Great video. I've changed the fan clutch about 2 years ago but not the fan blade itself. Could this be the problem for my truck overheating in heavy trafic.? I've replaced all other coolant components as well......but did notice a small leak from the head gaskets by the passenger side. Tried to seal it with a Liquid sealer and worked for 2 years but now is overheating in heavy trafic. Any Suggestions and Thanks......03 F150 crew cab 5.4 L Engine
+Ben Roman RACING We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Well done, thank you!
How much would this job cost minus the cost of the clutch
