The staff were so happy friendly and diverse! So happy they found you a beautiful room. Maybe they didnt have another room available at the time. Who knows... Just happy they were so helpful without giving you any static! The customer service seems outstanding! ❤🇺🇲

From all your other videos that I have seen in, you are so humble, kind and always have empathy for the less fortunate and helping the locals. I just spent 4 days in the Hilton Garden Inn in Midtown for $250/night (after taxes/fees), and it was way nicer than that room.

That room on 10th floor is supposed to be the personnel assigned you in the preference of your choice. It’s the desk personnels fault. When you complain and dig into your choice preferrence, your room you pay was supposed to be the elegance room. Glad that you get it corrected.

Why don’t you wait to see if you get a different room before messing it up? You also were concerned about the floor levels before you step inside the hotel, why didn’t you ask the front desk when you gave them your credit card! New York City is EXPENSIVE. I thought you knew that. The VIEW is not nice because it's the parking lot & a few trees. But also, you're paying for the "NAME", like when you buy a "well known name brand shirt". Your paying for the name brand. 😄🤣

Im honestly not impressed, ive stayed in 150 a night hotels that look alot better than that. I cant believe they dont have smart tvs. If i was you, i would make sure you can take those things home, they have your card and they will charge you out the ass for taking things your not suppose to take, so be careful. Sometimes before I get a room if I'm not sure about it, I'll ask to look at the room before I get one or not. I'm all over the place but not to get breakfast is ridiculous!! Yeah I want trump in the white house but on the business side of things, he is being cheap! Having to pay for Internet is a damn shame!

Crazy they put you in that little room with a view of the tree trunks for what you originally paid. I would’ve 100% complained like you did. We work hard for our money & should feel satisfied that we get the value back in what we pay our hard earned money with.

I booked a 400$ hotel in San Francisco that looks similar to that, and even then I thought it was too expensive lol
I live in Las Vegas. Not shocked at prices you're quoting. I've heard Aria and other high end hotels: if you lift anything off counters that's not complimentary for more than 15 seconds you will be charged. $25 for a bottle of water, internet not free. Hideously overpriced at every turn.
All I ever saw of the Trump tower is the escalator.. lol

i wouldn't set foot in any of his hotels, for that amount of money they should have environmentally friendly glass water bottles, they should have warm oshibori's and a glass of ice water with fruit when you check in. Tacky at that level to have a plastic water bottle, and not even a bottle of wine or champagne gratis. Non luxury toiletries, holiday in level slippers etc. that is beyond disappointing

I am pretty sure if you checked in on the time they asked you to check in, you would probably get the oom with the best view. Since you checked in early, they gave you this.

I know it's too little too late but Chris, you can ask to see a room before you pay for it. Man something like that in Houston would cost about 200 a night. I think you could also get a refund with them the first hour or 30 minutes I think your satisfaction is guaranteed if I'm not mistaken

Years ago like 1980 my friends worked for Marriott we got a comp room for 50 dollars and it was luxurious butler service chocolate breakfast on arrival room service newspaper drinks bar and 50th floor...
Last year stayed in a hotel in Bangkok for about 200 dollars a night, which is way out of my normal spending behaviour. My room there was at least two stars above this expensive Trump-dump.
