Def we won the offseason by keepin the core together and extending someone such as D White…people forget how much of a blow it was after the ‘08 title that we failed to bring back James Posey on a multi year extension which hindered that team winning another title.
Right or the fact that the Celtics were not really a team until after the All Star break. They were winning on individual talent and not team play. Plus they solidified the bench. Next season they are starting off with all of those enhancements.
I watch and listen to the pod on UA-cam in the morning. You always speak as if it’s directed to a different format. When and where is your show live.Also all I hear about is 2nd apron what does that mean. What is the Celtics yearly revenue. Does the 2nd apron mean there only making less money or is ownership losing money. Even if they only make a dollar after 2nd apron then it’s worth it, No
I don't see the team going full rebuild unless several things go wrong along the way. I don't see them ever getting worse than they were during the IT Era, or the Heat are now.
In fairness, the Celtics HAVE gotten a lot of discussion about running it back. We all know "winning" the offseason is about acquisitions as opposed to "where are we now?" Like Coach of the Year is REALLY about "who is perceived to have done the most with the least" as opposed to "best coach" (which would probably be 2-3 of the same guys every year).
An important thing to note about next season: If we don't win the mid-season tournament this summer has been an EPIC failure. Pearls are already being clutched.
Ok...say they win. The NBA has forced teams to hang the mid-season tournament banner...will there be a standoff? Since the Celtics only hang championship banners. That will be the Celtics controversy that might get national attention. LOL
Which "fan favorite" does he want back? There isn't a guy out there I can think of that fits. Who to get rid of to make room for him? Don't even SAY Marcus or Kelly or Grant. Please. Who else--Rob, so he can be hurt all season for $12M? Maybe a trade with Team France for Evan Fournier and the Dancing Bear? Fan favorites...mine are guys on the team.
Would love Time Lord back as a backup for KP, BUT he'd have to be fully healthy... and sadly he is just too injury prone. Rob seems to be made of glass 😢
