I was sitting here in sheer terror at the thought that somewhere in the video Brandon would have another twist to reveal - flicking the safety to the middle position and ripping off as much of a mag as it would feed in full auto

so as you can see, beowulf is closer to a desert eagle then to a barrett
Interestingly, the difference in case lengths between. 50AE and .50 Beowulf is the same size difference between NATO and Warsaw Pact 50-caliber rounds: 9mm

@@setesh1294 And it’s (12.7x55mm) an extremely low velocity round. It’s specifically designed for close quarter combat and meant to not penetrate the person you shoot it at.

Was curious, so I did some digging. According to 2 sources, 50 beowulf and 500 magnum are roughly equivalent, and a 3rd source actually said that reloaded 50 beowulf is slightly weaker coming out of a 16-inch barrel than reloaded 500 magnum coming out of a 8.5 inch barrel. I knew 50 beowulf was meh, but damn it is MEH.

I know you hate making these but I would love to see an AK in 450 bushmaster. The round works in a 223/556 mag with an altered follower and in a market swamped with un reliable ar's, bolt guns and single shots, an ak version would be sick for deer hunting in states that require a straight wall cartridge.
Make one in a 45-70, I think we need one of those. You know, for a comparison video. Love the content guy.
