Part 2 of 1978 Ford Pickup running off Propane. This truck is considered a bifuel or dual fuel conversion because it can run either fuel, LPG Propane or gasoline. www.toejo.com
Basically the same system for Natural Gas, besides the tank is different. Natural Gas tanks are more expensive since they have to be rated at 3300 psi and above. LPG Propane tanks are rated at 220 psi. We have done conversions for both even on EFI so I'm not biased, the components are usually quite a bit more for the high pressure side of Natural Gas resulting in big expense for CNG.
Thanks :) After looking at your channel, I see you're quite interested in sustainable / green technologies. You should make a video about a biodigester. A biodigester turns food scraps into methane gas :)
@@hankhill4254 Propane is pressurised much higher than NG for home use. You need to neck the pressure down to the NG pressure if you want to be ready when the _real_ gas man comes.
How much did the conversion cost
150 dollar in the Turkey. All carbreteur systems.
How much fuel mileage do you gain?
Do you do these conversions ?
So do you not have to worry about propane going thru the return fuel line? I have a lot of questions
What kind of gas mileage do you get?
There has to be a better way than buying a 1000 dollar conversion system.
Make the parts and fabricate them together
What about methane?

Methane is a bastard gas. Stick with propane, son.
