It seems like they have newer versions now but I got one of these at a great discount through Taurus. For the price you can't go wrong and the laser is extremely bright, even in the day. Installation and the sighting in process are super easy and take no time at all.
Beware during assembly the laser little rubber ring under the spring fell out. I didnt know where it should be. I put it to wrong place and laser occassionally stopped working. At 1:23 s you can see that ring before battery is placed. Otherwise very good laser sight.
Why is the price point on these gun lasers so fucking high? A laser is $1 at dollar tree. Add a molded plastic trigger guard adapter & that's it. Should be $10. I'd rather buy another G2C than pay $80 w/tax for a $10 laser.
@@GetOffMyVergaI ordered one for a Kimber r7 Mako which it lists as available but I received one for a Ruger LCP Maxx. Good ol' Amazon! I believe Hellcat is also listed.
...just bought one for my new TX22....thank you...couldn't figger how to get this on properly...gotta watch (not read) the instructions!!! These devices certainly have been miniaturized since Auric Goldfinger threatened James Bond with death almost 60 years ago!!!
@@cardvill1859 I've been told it does fit but have not bought it yet. I was pretty sure I was going to get the LCP MAX, but then PSA announced it was coming out with the 5.7x28 23 rd optics cut with threaded barrel, so I'm waiting for that and saving my money for a red dot and ammo.
What is the wrench that is used to adjust the Laser sight? Allan Wrench? What Size? The one that came with my Laser was very soft and stripped out before I got the Laser sighted in.
I emailed them but never hear back from them. I finally decided to file my wrench down to where it is fitting again. It won't last very long though as it is a very soft metal.
@@dalesearcy5734 thanks for the info, so the set screws didn’t strip for you either? It was definitely the tool? And do you know the size of the allen/ hex key? Thanks so much!
@@MTBing4LIFE The screws appear to be OK. The wrench rounded. Filing it down a bit got the wrench back to the correct size. Not sure how long it will work though. I don't know the size of the wrench, sorry.
OK, my dumb ass thought right out of the box you could just slide it onto the G3C but no, so to put it on the G3c like the video says you need to take the end with the screws take that off put the laser sight on the trigger guard make sure its angled right then just take the other piece and screw it back on, fits like a glove but it is confusing at first
Same. I had to get an extraction kit for small screws (T6 torx) and a good drill to get it out. I need to find a new screw now because my local hardware stores claimed they don’t carry such small screws.
THE SUPPLIED TOOL I RECEIVED WITH MINE WAS TOO SMALL. ON THE WEB..I SEE MANY HAVE HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM..I USED A STANDARD T6 SCREWDRIVER AND THEN NO PROBLEM
Does Viridian 1/3N batteries work on Lasermax GripSense? I ordered it, and it doesn’t seem to work. Or should I take off the green wrapper around battery first?
Is there a trick to getting the housing screws to turn? I can't even tell if the wrench is seating correctly, but nothing is getting loser and I'm afraid of stripping out the heads. Help!
The E-Series Laser uses the TACTICAL ENERGY + 1/3N battery. You can order replacements on our website viridianweapontech.com/viridian-1-3n-four-pack-lithium-batteries

When I bought my pistol I asked the question of how to replace the battery and the guy told me not to worry about that because it will last 20 years before that happens. 2 years later it died! Thanks for this video.
How do you remove one with out the tools it came with? I bought a sec 9 with the e series pre installed but they didn’t send the tools and I need to take it off.
Can you please respond? I need to remove the E series now and you don’t have any instructions on how to remove it, only attach one. I didn’t get a tool kit with my purchase but I did order one a week ago and it hasn’t even shipped. Please at least tell me what size the tool is as you conveniently don’t put that any where

Wish that I had viewed this video first, instead of relying solely on the Quickstart guide. Be sure that you use the right tools for the job. And loosen screws evenly back-and-forth unless you want to run into the problem that I did.
