Morning Wade, what a huge tree! When I saw the picture of Rodger on the stump on facebook I knew this was going to be an awesome vidja!! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!
Howdy Wade, Puddin seems to enjoy her new digs and happy to be dropping a big ole tree. You almost could have used one of those west coast logger tapes. Have A Day! ;~)
Good to see your still hangin in ther. Been a while since I got to see your vidjas. I hate the big stuff, damn hard to work with. Much rather have 10's to 18's.
Thats a honker of a tree! She's a beast! Made the Husky work a bit. Quick question on Brutus, can you shut off the saw part and use it as a pick? Are you using the trunk for lumber and the top for pulp?
Hey Wade been awhile since I msg'd you and jerked your chain hahah b glad you can walk around free no msk or face shields here in manila we are still under modified quarantine meaning mandatory masks and face shields going outside or into a mall going on 8 months now keep cuttin
Is the difference between a Logger and a Timber Faller, that the Timber Faller fells trees and the Logger does that and gets to do all the other jobs too?
great job but tell cutters that if you leave a little meat on the back of your face cut it won't set back and pinch your saw no need for wedges great job I seen it😛😛😛
A skidder operating in the vicinity of a cutter, especially one focused on cutting, is a recipe for disaster. A guy I use to work with got killed by a dead tree that the skidder operator hit with his pull. An innocent deadly mistake, and all kinds of shit can happen to the best of us. Which, except for working with my son years ago with me as the operator, I always work alone. 40 some years of logging without a major accident, Praise my God.
Thanks for the update Mark.
Don't worry that you don't have a video every week. I just go back and watch the first videos you have out!

Hey Wade 👋
I have been limbing spruce, I would love to be able to cut a big tree lol good job bud
Boys I feel for ya
hi wade from scotland have you or steve tride the stihl 500i yet and what do you think about it
Those are some Big Sticks
Wade did you do a video on how you touch up the teeth on a hotsaw? Seems like a good money saver! If you haven’t I’d be curious to see
How does the mill process logs that big .I have some monster pines they won't even touch.
Another Newhampshire man saying hi
I mashed one in the ground on a 43" red oak 12 foot where I was cutting. I seen it coming but was one of those days.
Keith Smith Lol I just did it to my 661 on a big bur oak just did the handle in though...
Mine didn't survive
Thats a honker of a tree! She's a beast! Made the Husky work a bit. Quick question on Brutus, can you shut off the saw part and use it as a pick? Are you using the trunk for lumber and the top for pulp?
Yes on both accounts
@@LoggerWade thanks for answering bud. Be safe out there.
Hey Wade been awhile since I msg'd you and jerked your chain hahah b glad you can walk around free no msk or face shields here in manila we are still under modified quarantine meaning mandatory masks and face shields going outside or into a mall going on 8 months now keep cuttin
Sorry to hear bud I haven't wore a mask over 5 times
Thanks Wade, How many board Feet of Lumber, can you get out of one 8 foot log? 👍 Stay Safe
How much does a popular tree that size usual sell for. I have a couple it would take maybe 3 or 4 people to reach around it.
Wade how do you like that 3/4 wrap handle? Have you always run one of those?
I'm curious as to why you plunged the saw into the center after cutting the wedge out??
BUBBA MN because his saw bar isn’t long enough to cut past the middle when he’s going around the tree
God bless and be safe I have you all in my prayers
I think Rodger cut down the tree I know who it was loger Wade did it
Lol rogie has did many over the years he can get credit on this one
Nothing like the smell of wood chips in the morning.
Gerald Wilson here btw. Im runnin undercover lol.
aggravating to cut for sure, but something to remember, you did a good job.... how many feet did it have in it?
I'm guessing over 3,000
Is the difference between a Logger and a Timber Faller, that the Timber Faller fells trees and the Logger does that and gets to do all the other jobs too?
What size bar are you running?
Son of a gun!! Can you imagine if that was a rock maple? What a tree.
Oh man that would be intresting for shore
Is that stuff considered old growth? Its massive.
great job but tell cutters that if you leave a little meat on the back of your face cut it won't set back and pinch your saw no need for wedges great job I seen it😛😛😛
do you have many walnut tree cutting vids scattered round about
Some not many
How do you keep from breaking out from poison ivy?
Just get it so many times your body finally builds some immunity to it
What’s the minimum age of a harvestable tulip poplar?
Don't know about where Wade is at, but in the southeast about 20 years.
As crooked as that pulpwood is you will need a screwdriver to get it on the truck 😂
I would have had that saw pinched for sure .I stick a wedge in for sure know lol
Some of those limbs would be to big for my saw to cut. 😀
Look like one of those rich Egyptians lol
My thoughts exactly. Yul Brenner's character in the Ten Commandments.
Guesstimate on the footage?
??? How did I miss this one ???? Sucker 'snuck' by me.
Haha thanks for circling back around for it bud
There's enough firewood in that lap to winter 2 houses
Nothing like the smell of diesal in the morning to wake u up
That was a big tree u got a little hand cutting in keep up in practice lol
That's a big son of a gun, how big was it across the base
I'd guess north of 60"

Aw shucks you think im beautiful😍😁
what cha doin ya ol rascal ???
@@StumpjumperVideosPA Not making new vids!! hahahaha
Yeah but, it would have taken me probably 2-3 hours by hand, and that is not getting all those little logs, that would have been near impossible.
Time for a new chainsaw
