The latest Eternals series refers to the Eternals as cosmic angels and the Deviants as cosmic demons as the Celestials are considered the God's to both races.
Fun fact: the terms eternals and deviants doesn’t just apply to the ones from earth, but all other races, the biggest examples are the deviant skrulls aka the ones we are familiar with and the eternal Kree aka the ones we are also familiar with.
Deviants seem to be chaotic in terms of power and abilities and since Thanos is a deviant hybrid maybe the MCU version doesnt have heightened healing? He could take an axe hit to the chest, though

Been looking forward to this video for a VERY long time. I had literally NEVER heard of the Eternals before the film trailer came out, so I had absolutely ZERO idea who they were.
That totally means that Ikaris will come back bcz no matter what eternals storyline it is Ikaris is a major part of it. I really hope he comes sooner and be the hero he is in the comics
i don’t know much about marvel but the very basics but every time i’m lost in the super sauce. I come to this channel and learn about the other badass heroes and villains. Love this channel

All written differently and are unique. Alongside that, if you love marvel cosmology, you'll love the stepping stones laid out in this movie. But in saying that, this movie is one made to lay out the foundations for further exploration

The film clicked for me after Sersi and Arishem and it made way more sense and after that and the final battle I knew I loved the movie. People having different opinions from you is fine. It's pretty much a entirely different movie that can't be compared to Captain Marvel apart from both films having characters with powers. The films are like night and day.
Great primer for getting ready for the movie. But I would love to know more about their giant triangular shaped ship/base. It looks pretty epic. Also, previews have already mentioned a comparison between Ikaris and Superman. Was he designed on purpose to be like Superman in the Marvel Universe, especially with his eye beams?
There's millions of Superman copies in the Marvel Universe, with Ikaris, Hyperion and Sentry being at the forefront of my head. Hyperion specially, since the Squadron Supreme was created with the purpose of being Marvel's Justice League

Loved the movie!! I see why people said it was slow (ironic since it spans thousands of years haha) but it was very interesting and absolutely nuts! The implications this has on MCU canon is huge, like almost bigger than Doctor Strange confirming wizards are real huge. Also, not a criticism since he looks cool, but God looks like a huge bionicle lmao Edit: the hate was super overblown, especially people saying the VFX are bad? Huh? If you didn't like the movie that's fine, subjective tastes, but the effects were gorgeous! Organic magic is sick as hell

Saw it with my gf at Dolby cinema. The whole theatre was lit up. It was badass for me. Action was great, the visuals were gorgeous, comedy had me chuckling unexpectedly, and I loved the part where some eternals were going through actual character development where they deal with their core beliefs, something rarely seen in MCU. This felt like watching anime and that fact that they had these characters question their own beliefs and grow more than who they were is worth alot to me.

It was a nice movie. Not a "Oh my God. Wow!" type of movie, but a Okay movie. Didnt feel like a MCU movie for the most part( which is kinda good).

Saw this last night. Was one of the best Marvel films ever! Avengers Endgame is still the best one, IMO, but this has got to be up in top 5
