Brave fight from Andries, they would become Kronk stablemates after this fight and Andries would be Champion again, and be a 3 time light heavyweight Champion in fact. Hearns we know was an alltime great.
Muy superior la cobra en esta pelea, se noto que jugaba con su rival en muchos rounds y cuando se puso serio lo mando a la lona 7 veces , es que mas paliza no le pudo dar
I'll never forget this fight. Jim Watt said before the fight that Andries would win, his reasoning was " a good big one will always beat a good little one". After the fight they showed Hearns knocking out Roberto Duran, they he said how he realised how stupid he was .
Hearns needed time after taking on this fight and moving up in weight! He looked as if his timing was off in the subsequent fights going back down 164 (Roldan and Barkley)
Hearns still looked strong against Roldan though, which isn't always the case when a guy moves up & down in weight. Barkley just got Hearns to walk into a perfect shot. Whatever Hearns did in training, he did it right.
Tommy hearns my favourite middle weight legend

Heart of a lion.
What an amusing fight, even Hearns laughed his ass off 👊😁
Hahahahahaha
29:37 he's so happy
Herrera must've bet the over/under and needed Andries to survive round six.

Great win for the Hitman! Andries was outclassed but if he'd thrown more to the body, I think he would have gotten further.
Hearns was a big cruiserweight too
I loved him at light heavy. He gave Virgil Hill a boxing lesson at 175 too.
Relax

Referee: If Andries dies, he dies
Jokes aside, what a disgrace of a fight refereeing wise. Fortunate that Hearns did not kill Andries.

Good observation. He took a lot of shots from Roldan.
