A realistic approach to scalable and cost-effective cross-browser device solution 🤖

These are recordings from the Austin Automation Professionals meetup that I organize with some cool people.
The current cross browser/device platforms are not built to handle the real scalability that software development design patterns require, in a cost-efficient way.
This talk is to address how to scale desktop/mobile web/app test automation in a cost-effective way that would meet the demands of good software development design patterns like Shift Left, at the same time, be cost effective.

About Ragavan Ambighananthan:
Throughout my 19 years in the Software Industry, I have worked as Test Automation engineer across various domains like Network Management, Mobile, comparison sites, online security and online travel.
Currently working in Expedia as Principal Software Engineer in Test , guiding all teams on the best practices of UI automation, trying various new technologies for mobile, responsive automation, tools for parallelisation, cloud based solutions for cross browser and device automation.
I like new technologies, my current role gives me the freedom to continue to evaluate new solutions for various challenges we are facing in the fast moving test automation domains like mobile web automation, cross browser automation, responsive automation, etc.
I like open source tools and i have contributed my share of work in the form of bug fixes to tools like TLB (Test Load Balancer), Cucumber, SeleniumGridScaler, SimLauncher ,etc.
I mentor and create champions. I write, speak, and present, that's the way I give back to the community.
