I think this maybe the ONLY race outside the U.S. National s in Indy for the HEMI challenge class only…..if not then it’s probably only one or two more .
@@michealbarnes1447 I agree, in my opinion the SS HEMI challenge cars & class is irreplaceable….i just don’t know why NHRA has not added more HEMI challenge races to the NHRA tour, I know they are not as common as Promods but it seems maybe an 8 race schedule would be a decent amount to start with….i say keep Indy of course but maybe add 7 other events like Bristol, Gainesville, Maplegrove, St.Louis, Phoenix, Pomona & Sonoma….kind of spread it out to all regions so the fans can get a chance to see them in person.
@@frank-xp6pj Absolutely, sounds like an awesome idea. That said i did get a chance to see them at Gainesville back in the late 90's early 2000's, took a lot of pics using a disposable camera! lol
Great coverage !! Love those Hemi Darts and Barracudas !!
I remember when there were a lot more Hemi Darts and Cudas
They built 150 total in 68. 80 Darts 70 Cudas.
Hopefully they’ll have a good turnout in Belle Rose at No Problem Raceway in November.
I'm curious to how often they run these races throughout the year, i love watching them at Indy.

@@frank-xp6pj I really hope they're not fazing them out as exhibition races since factory X and factory stock has come on the scene.
