Dear Marta, your books inspire me a lot. I love working with them and showing people they can use your books for more than collage and art journaling. Making a junk journal with them was so easy. Love love your books!🧡💚💛🩷🥰🌷🌼
I too like white spaces. They allow lightness into the pages. I LOVE words. Transforming everyday clothing tags etc adds a whimsy. Good size journal--not too big and not too small. 🍄
Yes it does add some lightness to the journal and really allows for writing. I love words too! I'm happy you liked the video. Thank you for commenting. 😊🌼🌷☺️
Hi Chantal… I can relate to having ideas, starting several projects but then losing momentum to work on it… and I love the comment about messy rooms will drain you - that’s currently my life right now. I’ve done too much shopping in the last year and don’t have room for it! I like so many different styles and I tend to use a different journal for each style/designer but I do need to eventually finish the journals… I have 5 pages left in my large Dylusions journal and I have to work in it before moving on to something else again. I try to rotate what I work in. I love your finished journal. I wondered how you were going to bind it when I saw your individual journal pages. What a beautiful combination of products used for your journal. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and inspiration. Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
Hi Sue! Thank you. It is so difficult not to jump right into a new project when we get new things! Oh, the struggle is real! 🤣 That's why I do let go if I feel uninspired, but I also do come back to them. Otherwise, nothing would ever get finished, and that's depressing. I find that cleaning my studio and looking through my stuff inspires me. So once in a while, I take care of decluttering so I can feel inspired to work again. Have a wonderful day, and thank you for being here 😊 🌼🌷🧡
This is stunning! You have done Marta’s book proud! Incredibly inspiring. I’ve bought 2 already. Likely get the bird one next. 😂. Thanks for showing us how amazing they can be! You are better than a design team! Hugs ❤️😍
Ooo comments from marta how sweet!! Thanks for the pep talk it always helps me look at things from a different perspective. Such a sweet relaxing journal to watch. Very calming. Hugs to you chantel from little egg harbor, NJ 😊❤❤❤
Hi Suzy! Oh, New Jersey! I like knowing where viewers are from ☺️ Thank you, I'm happy you liked the video. Ha e a wonderful day, and as always, I'm happy you are here. 🌷🧡🌼
Loved this video! Your explanation on finishing journal’s was inspiring to me. I have a handmade journal that I started and then did nothing with. I also enjoyed watching you flip through and putting the final touches in. Love your channel and Marta’s collage books. 🩵💙
Exactly. I also suggested this because you can reuse certain parts and papers and then discard the rest. That way, you are ready to create a fresh new journal or finish an older project! ☺️🌼
Some work just doesn't turns out "sub par". And I can throw them out, as they are just exercises in a process of discovery and perfecting my skills (not my outcome, that doesn't have to be perfect). Some of them are absolutely worth while, but I still have no destination for them. I have started to put them in the library between books, with a little note in them about junk journaling and what you can use it for, as I think there are a lot of good people among readers and they deserve to find "treasures".
such a pretty piece !!!!!! and you made it look so easy, what a great eye for vintage ! ❤

You might also look at those things you don't like and see if there's any parts of them you do and take them apart and use them in another Journal
