Suspension now rebuilt. Powder coating came out well. Lots of redrilling holes! Body work commencing now. Having a lot of fun! VERY COOL VIDEO! I'll have to have a lot of help when I get to the rewiring stage. I'm always impressed with your work! Someday MAYBE I will get close to your level! No, probably not. Laughs. But I can match your level of enjoyment in this crazy hobby!
Great progress Michael, good luck on the body work! Rewiring is a lot of fun for geeks like me. I've used it as an opportunity to include everything I wish the original wiring did differently. Thanks for always being here and keep having fun!
Thanks Gary, I learn a little each time. Gotta keep pushing! Good seeing you too, I'm glad we had a chance to catch up a little. Lakeland is 2 months away!
Hi Brent, a great show of old VW Beetles and buses thanks for sharing, nice you found that little piece you need for the Dweezil👍🏻🍀. stay safe and take care, my friend. greetings Hubertus,🙏☮
Thanks Hubertus, that little vibrator (voltage regulator) is a neat little piece of old style engineering. You stay safe as well, and best wishes for your continued progress on the T3!
Yeah, that was disappointing. I know what I did to break it- I was attempting to correct an issue that developed about halfway through installation; really should have backed up and started over at that point. Live and learn! I agree that was a cool show- thanks for going along with us and good luck with the steering box on your Beetle!
@@HapticGarage thank you, I have footage for more then 6 months lol. So way ahead then the video’s on UA-cam. Getting pieces will be fun for that steering box. Thanks for watching 👍👍👍.
Hey, man! It's been a while! I haven't got updated on your channel as I went through a few busy periods of my life between work, my VW shop and personal matters. So I just saw your video in which you were going to wire up your bug. I would've been more than glad to help you out along the way because I myself wire up bugs at my shop. I got a few tips, tricks and kinks to do the job, and a really nice job BTW. And I do it all by memory lol I see that the car is coming along nice in the wiring dept, so if you ever need any help, don't hesitate and hit me up!
Hey VochaTalacha! First, sorry for the late reply. I'm getting caught up after a couple busy months. Things are good, and I hope all is well with you too. Thanks for the offer of wiring help! I really enjoy automotive electrical but I'm sure I could learn a few things from you. In fact I've done most of the wiring on Dweezil now and learned a few things I would do differently next time. There's a sneak peak in the video posted this week. Thanks for the support and I hope to hear from you again soon!
Thanks Jason, great to have you with us. Definitely a cool show and I kinda like the cold. Scratch that, I really like the cold! We'll have to keep this one on the calendar for next year. Keep up the great progress on Goose!
Great video Brent. It is good to get away from the projects sometime and clear our heads. Dweezil looks great and can’t wait to see you on the road with it. You’ve come a long way with that car
Nice little cameo video, I always enjoy your content, no matter the subject. I reckon Deeezil’s electrics will be way better than factory, given your attention to detail and faultless execution (save for the screen!!). Looking forward to seeing the next video, and take good care, love the channel.
Thanks as always Aussie Beatle, this was a great opportunity to share a video expediently. I think with more practice in this area I'll be able to share more frequently and consistently. Oh, and it was fun! Thanks again for being so supportive, you take care as well and we'll do this again soon!
Thanks Richard, sorry for the delayed reply. Doing well and happy to be getting caught up with friends. I hope all is well with you also. It's always great to hear from you!
Love the Video man!🤘🏻 had a great time chatting with you and thanks for the shoutout! Love Henry’s Depot, honestly had such a great time despite being so cold haha -Dalton
Thanks Levi! I'm really working on my ability to turn around a video a little faster these days. There's always something to learn! And yes, really looking forward to sharing more about Dweezil. This little car is more fun everyday. Thanks for watching!
Yeah GT Bugger, it's a fascinating little thing. It has a thermal strip in it that frequently connects/disconnects to maintain a consistent voltage. Crazy stuff but now you know! Thanks for watching!

@@HapticGarage Thank you, Brent, and ditto with the Dweezil.❤👍🏻
To bad your window broke. Electric wires you have to live electricity lol. Nice show you went on. A bunch off cool cars there👍👍👍

I love hunting for old parts
Me too Mr. Motormaster. The swap meet remains my favorite part of going to a VW show, second only to the people!
Looks like a good show and a good time! I’m looking forward to the Winter Volkfest in Raleigh the last weekend in February.
Oh wow, that would be a cool show to see! Thanks for watching and enjoy the Volkfest next month!
Nice meeting you today.
Nice meeting you too (sorry I missed this)! Maybe I'll see y'all again at No Dough next week?

Thanks Zimm (sorry for the delayed response)! I'm glad you enjoyed this and the update video a couple days ago, more to come!
I see you enjoying time driving with your Dog girl friend ! and your amount of views😉 is incredible ! LoL ! See you in Lakeland !!!!!
Thanks AA BB! Yeah, Tig is my buddy. Sorry for the late reply, Lakeland was great and now we're looking ahead to No Dough!
That window is a bummer. Looking forward to seeing about the electrical work.
Yeah, one of those things. We'll keep at it and everything will turn out fine. Stay tuned for VW sparky time!
Love your co-pilot 👍
Thanks Eduardo, I do too. Tig loves a good bus ride!

Sorry I missed this Dalton! It was great seeing you at Lakeland and I hope to see you next week!
Video came out great Brent! Wish I could've been there yesterday, but things happen! Cant wait to see more progress on the bug.

I recently cleaned up my speedo and was wondering what that little doodaah was attached to it.
