To be honest I prefer private security, they are more friendly, approachable and more willing to help. Globally, private security officers ratio is 3 to 1 public police officers. I think that we need to see a reduction in public police officers, realignment of ranks and professional tests to be conducted. That way we can increase a SAPS Officers salary which would hopefully motivate them to execute their jobs better.
