I love it! He actually thought his continued claim that he did not understand would delay the trial and prevent the inevitable. Nice try Mr. Brooks..... Or whatever your name is
Yesterday I watched the pre trial hearing and setting of bail. The prosecution outlined his complete criminal record. It shows his complete disregard for any judicial determination against him. He has used this same vehicle to run down his ex partner before.
He did not make either of those decisions? What a clown. He thinks that these decisions are to be made from him. The day he decided to run over innocent people ,he lost any control of anything in his life. He has absolutely zero power right now. A narcissist worst nightmare.
Every time he argues that he doesn't understand things either laws or proceedings he brought that on himself by not having counsel representing him. Why does the court then have to make exceptions for his choice and then practically do the job that counsel would be doing for him?
"Self Representation" is a LEGAL RIGHT for individuals! Expecting the COURT to INSTRUCT an individual on self-defense is NOT a "Right". You choose to be your own lawyer - that's on YOU! The Court has NO responsibility to provide you with "on the job" training! Zero! The JUDGE - especially in this case - has ZERO responsibility to explain the LAW to the self-represented defendant! None whatsoever! He CHOSE to self-represent! He wasn't FORCED to do so. His legal IGNORANCE is solely on HIM! Stop this charade - NOW! Summary judgement - no jury necessary. Needle in the arms, and society is (sigh) suddenly an incrementally better place to be in!
He is telling the judge that he doesn’t understand her questions in order to force her to make a decision on his defense on his behalf. Then he’s going to go back and call for a mistrial because “I did not understand”.
Right? And there won’t be anything he can do. All the fighting, dirty looks, and other tactics will be useless. Just walked away in cuffs, to (hopefully) never be heard again. I’m just wondering if he’s going to actually get violent

@@theoneandonly6115 I'm sure he will get violent, for all of one second before the stun belt he's wearing drops him to the floor. Guaranteed there's a bailiff ready and waiting to hit that button.
He has two separate charges of bail jumping and said "You can't do dat!" He claimed double jeopardy, which he probably learned - kind of - from the jailhouse lawyer he has been consulting with. He totally didn't get that there were two different incidents, and believed that once you were charged with something, you couldn't get another charge. He totally just could not figure that out.
"I would like to go to the other courtroom" "Are you waiving your right to be present in this courtroom?" Anyone with basic English comprehension and conversational skills could have gathered that if he had simply said Yes, he would have been allowed to go to the other courtroom. Mr. Brooks is a representation of a certain population of Americans that we're ashamed to call our fellow citizens.
He doesn’t understand “this”, and he doesn’t understand “that”. He just does not understand. And I don’t understand how people were able to refrain from socking him in the face. He labored under the delusion that if he didn’t understand or consent everything would them come to a standstill. When that did not happen, he started acting like a fool. I think he had to go out of his way to be as ignorant as he displayed he was.
So many people bashing the judge claiming she should just shut him out completely. If she shuts him out of any part of the process without affording him the opportunity to participate, this case will be tossed on appeal. She's trying to prevent as many reversible errors as possible. Why do you think she constantly says she's making sure the record is clear on matters when it comes to him forfeiting his rights? This isn't a scripted TV show where the entire case is wrapped up in an hour. There are many interests the judge has to balance and she's doing a great job!

The judge beautiful gave him a false sense of security but today, she showed him who's in control!!!
he sure does reference and acknowledge the constitution alot for a sovereign citizen
That's what I said too. How convenient right? Lol
He is the poster child for all sovereign citizens. They are all Narcissist like him.
I love when she doesn’t give him attention
He tried to say at the end he didn’t wave his right to council 😂
Mann I need to find the rest of that bc that’s funny asl, he made a huge deal in the beginning about representing himself now he wanna go back 😂
waive
He thinks he is not making decisions by not outright stating them. But he is making decisions with his behavior. Including when he decided to spend the rest of his life in jail by running over people with his car. However, he did sign a document waiving his right to counsel. He denies things he does. Talking to him must be infuriating.
@@heemlo649 come on now this isn't a classroom y'all know what he meant 😂
@@grayisgood I suspect he’ll try and get out of it by claiming changing the word “understand” to “informed” on the form (a standard sovcit thing) will invalidate the waiver.
Does he really believe that a lack of understanding the charges or court procedures is going to save him ?
I think it’s honestly incredible that people like judge Darrow exist in our world, really hope she gives Wisconsin the break they very much need all around tbh
I wish someone would have the patience to go thru the entire trial and count how many times he says 'I don't understand". Again I point out that the court has zero obligation to provide him any legal education or edification. That is the job of his lawyer...
Give it a day or two there are already videos of him saying objection and grounds with a count hahaha
If you can’t understand the law then you are incompetent to stand trial.
This is why he is claiming it
Competency is different to insanity.
@@chickenstick321 imagine if that was a drinking game 🤮
It’s so tiring to have the judge keep repeating that it’s not the courts problem that he can’t understand, she’s been informing of that since day 1 … I’d be screaming the information to him by day 3 lol , amazing judge .
@@lisah9561 like the judge says later if you can understand jury nullification you can understand jury instructions lmao that guy's a joke
Love how the court does not stop when he refuses to choose what particular course or action he would like to take. He keeps crying that decisions are made without his input, but he, every time, is asked what HE would like to do. They don't keep indulging him and just move on. So satisfying!
The old "I never said I did, I never said I didn't" crap does not work in a court of Law. When a judge asks you a yes or no question, you answer it.
The Balliffs face during the whole trial should be a meme 😂
I just wanted to know what was going through the Bailiff's mind, I just knew he was gonna lose it.. that's a tuff Bailiff.
He often looks at him as if to say Can I tase him NOW!!!
Do it.
Unsung hero for sure lol, the lack of reaction to all the crazy coming from DB was impressive lol.
I want a coffee mug with his face on one side and SMJ on the other side!
Patience and nice hair - great combo.
My best friend has hair like that and I have always been profoundly envious.
@@jillionairess Some people just get lucky in life, right. No worries though - we just surpass them in more important ways. 😀
I’m getting some beer in for his closing statement.
I'll bring the sandwiches 🥪 🤣🤣🤣
Are they tomorrow? I’m gonna wake up early 😂
I v much doubt he will do it without getting removed, muted, gagged or zapped the second he mentions jury nullification he’s done for
I got the desserts!
Well put me down for the chips 😂👍🏼..Tomorrow is going to be epic. I usually watch the trial on my phone but Tomorrow I'm tuning in on the big screen TV 😂🤣..
This woman has the patience of a Saint!! He wants her to teach him a law school class. wtf.
He understands everything, he is just trying to get a mistrial or delay the inevitable
And that's why the Judge has let him get away with as much as she has
Your family must be so proud of you Darrell Brooks. What a waste of a human being.
He spends so much time fussing with her that he shoots himself in the foot.
Such a punk
He doesn't understand that it's not a requirement that he understands. He accepted this when he decided to represent himself.
it's funny how he was acting like he's more intelligent than everybody in that courtroom and at the end he doesn't understand a thing not one thing he says he doesn't understand I thought he was smarter than everybody he just keeps prolonging this courtroom and every single person has been patient with him you can clearly see he is a very dangerous person that loses control easily it's so sad and the people that were injured will have to live with this for the rest of their life and the people that were killed their families will have to live with that fright for the rest of their lives he's pulling and dragging this courtroom down his mental mess
This judge is absolutely making sure this won’t be a mistrial.
I didn’t wave my right to no counsel.
Sir……
Guilty. Life. Get outta my court.
"I don't understand." Easily the most honest _and_ accurate thing he's said during the entire trial.
Which is a lie, he has been intelligent enough to eloquently represent himself and artfully articulate his defense so far, to play the game of not being able to understand is a lie and a joke!!!
@@teddyrock1740 No it's not a lie. In my opinion; he's got an incredibly large fool for a client. _For me to say otherwise, would be a lie._ You simply _disagree_ with my opinion.
It would be like someone accusing you of lying when you said he's been intelligently representing himself. While your belief is highly disputable, it would be wrong and unfair* to assume you're lying about it.
(*Wrong because you're probably not lying. Unfair because it would be accusing you of doing something deceptive, instead of just presenting your opinion.)
Let him tell that to the prison guard. I don't understand!. Ok. You gone learn the hard way. For real💯
He so does understand! It's a disruptive, delaying tactic so he can try and have a mistrial declared.
I think the most honest thing he said during this trial was "My conscience is clear". Said during his two hour long statement at the end of the trial.
I love it! He actually thought his continued claim that he did not understand would delay the trial and prevent the inevitable. Nice try Mr. Brooks..... Or whatever your name is
I would’ve paid good money to watch the cross examination of Brooks
Yesterday I watched the pre trial hearing and setting of bail. The prosecution outlined his complete criminal record. It shows his complete disregard for any judicial determination against him.
He has used this same vehicle to run down his ex partner before.
How does this judge not lose her cool? He is impossible!
They def gave him to her for a reason she’s awesome😂 how could anyone not loose their cool with this guy
Because she is the epitome of a true professional. That or she takes some incredible edibles.
She's too nice....
@@ML_1515 Yeah, there is not enough of that going around.
@@maezin1386 she is definitely dipping into the valums for this trial
He did not make either of those decisions? What a clown. He thinks that these decisions are to be made from him. The day he decided to run over innocent people ,he lost any control of anything in his life. He has absolutely zero power right now. A narcissist worst nightmare.
That moment when you realize... I should have went to law school 🤣 she's a terrific professor of law!
After murdering innocent people he has some nerve. Just so over this
I used to act like him when I was 4
Why would you even admit that?
I acted better than this as a 4 year old
@Jay Smith LMAO that's a crime
With all due respect, you must have been the most irritating 4 year old on the face of the earth lol
@Jay Smith A "nap." wink wink
Love how he refuses to say a simple yes or no simple stonewalling
Darrell “I don’t undershtand” Brooks
Every time he argues that he doesn't understand things either laws or proceedings he brought that on himself by not having counsel representing him. Why does the court then have to make exceptions for his choice and then practically do the job that counsel would be doing for him?
I'm legitimately upset he's not testifying to prove his innocence
I needed more comedic entertainment of him making a fool out of himself .
Asks the judge what something means then rolls eyes and repeats “I don’t understand”. Geez🤦🏾♂️
Of course he doesn't understand "these things." Mr Brooks, you are not an ATTORNEY!
Brooksy gets asked question and answers question competently.
Judge asks same question again later on.
Brooksy: "I don't understand the question"
He is telling the judge that he doesn’t understand her questions in order to force her to make a decision on his defense on his behalf. Then he’s going to go back and call for a mistrial because “I did not understand”.
After this is over, he'll never wear a suit and tie again.
Yep
Game time is over
Time to wear that permanent Orange
They’ll probably give him one last suit for funeral service.
@@anthonyjh02 Well, he won't know it... 😉
This fool really thought he was gonna cause a mistrial but being uncooperative and disruptive!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I admire you judge for how you r handling this case, your doing an excellent job.
I can't wait till DB gets sentenced. His petulant tantrum and screams will be epic.
Right? And there won’t be anything he can do. All the fighting, dirty looks, and other tactics will be useless. Just walked away in cuffs, to (hopefully) never be heard again. I’m just wondering if he’s going to actually get violent
It won't be long maybe a day or two since the judge was talking about jury instructions, handing out the papers with what DB is being charged and whether they choose guilty or NG also where the victims family can sit in the courtroom
@@theoneandonly6115 I'm sure he will get violent, for all of one second before the stun belt he's wearing drops him to the floor. Guaranteed there's a bailiff ready and waiting to hit that button.
@@theoneandonly6115 If he does get violent, I can't wait to see the footage of the beatdown and DB getting tased. It will warm my heart.
Don't even get him started on the concept of an non exhustive list in Illinois v Allen🤡
"I would like to go to the other courtroom"
"Are you waiving your right to be present in this courtroom?"
Anyone with basic English comprehension and conversational skills could have gathered that if he had simply said Yes, he would have been allowed to go to the other courtroom. Mr. Brooks is a representation of a certain population of Americans that we're ashamed to call our fellow citizens.
The desperation increases as the inevitable draws nearer
He doesn’t understand “this”, and he doesn’t understand “that”. He just does not understand. And I don’t understand how people were able to refrain from socking him in the face.
He labored under the delusion that if he didn’t understand or consent everything would them come to a standstill. When that did not happen, he started acting like a fool. I think he had to go out of his way to be as ignorant as he displayed he was.
This judge is one of a kind!
He thinks he’s running it. He doesn’t see that she’s letting him go because she isn’t about to let this be a mistrial.
She is the most patient judge ever
He is having the time of his life. What a shame this is for the victims and the families.
4:57 Brooks: "You keep running right over my rights..." Wow. What a poor choice of idiom considering...
It's just an expression, you don't have to swerve through a crowd about it.
Oh just earlier you were saying how he should be freed. So he did it or not then.

This same judge is now being considered for a position on the Supreme Court for the State of Wisconsin. He being so smart propelled her there with the publicity from this trial.
His whole defence was centered around him saying " i dont unershtand " what a tool !
