  • “Coconut oil does not contain proteins itself, it is composed of approximately 50% lauric acid which helps restore and strengthen the protein structure of your hair. So it is perfect if you have damaged hair or split ends.”

    Hi Sino I just wanna thank you for making this video, it has changed my life. I really adore my hair now, it was a mess, dry, dull, breaking had a grey look. I had already lost hope, then I heard my sister talking one day that there was a lady with an afro on the Morning show on E-TV. I asked her what's her name she said that it's Sinovuyo Mondliwa. On that day you were the talk of the day could not even hold her self she was inspired. That's when I went to UA-cam and searched for you the I followed your videos I was inspired. In fact in each and every video you post I gain something, I always come out with something and try it on, I'm a happy afro lady. Everywhere I go they ask me how do you make afro like that I always tell them go to UA-cam and watch this lady you will thank me later. I have always been a straight hair person but that did not work for me because I always got burn by the cream/relaxer product, after that I would have dandruff I would always go through those painful wounds. I always told my mom that I wanted to do afro she would say it's expensive and time consuming, and even worse painful that what you are already experiencing. That would turn me down, until I saw that my hair was breaking off from the back and relaxer did not help me. I cut off my hair and started from stretch, the journey was not easy I would move back and forth. Until I saw this video, boom I was so amazed I jumped up and down on my bed not believing what I'm seeing that my hair is moving forward now healthy, beautiful, it had that thing you know. Then I watched all your videos now can proudly walk with my hair out, without any extensions on. Thank you Sino many thanks love you❤️.

I'll definitely try the Palmer's protein treatment. Thank you for the video

    hey Sino, your videos are improving every single time. You improving so well.
    What natural options are there for a protein treatment and would you consider ever using them?
    I know you don't use a lot of natural ingredients and like buying products, however would be nice to see a video on that, considering the year of DIY at home.
    Anyway, great job, loving your videos.
    Keep up the good work

    I think the Mayonnaise can pass as a protein treatment because mayonnaise has egg in it, and eggs are a good source of protein. Lol people used to think that I was insane when I would put eggs or Mayonnaise on my hair way back when I was still relaxed and in primary school. Well I've always been obsessed and more interested in hair than the average person.

    • @jjkfl7319
      @jjkfl7319 5 років тому

      It can't, the protein molecules in mayo aren't large enough to actually penetrate the hair shaft. If you want to do a DIY treatment then you can try using (unflavoured) gelatine, which has hydrolysed protein. NappyFu has a video on it.

      You need to massage the oil directly into your hair, so doing that will do you a great injustice I think.

      For the last treatment that you used, was it the ors brand or the original mayonnaise brand?

    Wow, respectfully said, South Africa is expensive! R300 for a bottle of shampoo.
