hey thanks. I have never found physics hard and everyone thinks im weird when it comes to physics. But I just basically think in a logical way. When you are given a question in physics. Try to imagine it or even draw the situation on paper to help you discover a "what will happen" or "how it will happen". Then just apply formulas. hope i helped

The Doppler effect in radar works like this, the colour spectrum of visible light when an object is approaching towards you it will be red for example but green in the middle and blue when away. If everything in the radar is standing still it becomes noise. If an enemy aircraft is not moving in a direction where the Doppler effect is happening and moves into the right place, it can become one with the noise on the enemies radar and effectively disappear from their long range sight. I learned this in DCS World.

Thanks for bringing up the car horn example. Its easier to understand when you know what to look for and actually pay attention to the sound. The sound doesnt sound the same the entire time, or you could actually hear the sound changing from high to low pitch when its in motion. The low pitch part, it actually sounds like its being drawn out or stretched due to the lower frequency.

The animation has one flaw - the circles showing the wave propagation do not move with a car. A sound travels from the spot it was created, independently on how its source is moving.
