I had this Ozark Trail from Walmart, got tired of lugging the RTIC hard sided cooler around. The zipper failed after about 20 uses. I emailed the company. They kept asking for more information, pictures(looked like brand new), invoice, new tag(stuck it in the pocket). They said these coolers do not have a warranty so keep that in mind when buying. My cost was about $3.50 per use. I went back to my cheap Coleman in the garage that has outlived everything else.
This is hard due to the fact we don't know when the ice melted in the ozark. Could have been day 4 and rtic has a little ice on day 8. If so then it's worth the higher price.
have to at least buy two bags of ice of equal size to make it a fair comparison. Cant just eyeball it. have to make both conditions as equal as possible.
yeah sold deal for sure, even at $50 it wasn't bad, is the RTIC still a better product? Yeah sure but for 4 times the price, nah but hey it was a nice gift from a friend and I use it a lot
I wouldn't feel too bad, still good products and still a better build quality, not saying that its worth twice the price or more but at the end of the day still better. No doubt though the Ozark is a good deal for the money.
That's my dad, he is from Youngs Island South Carolina which is by the coast, close to Charleston, his accent is what you call a Low Country Good Ole Boy Southern accent
Yes it is, I have it listed on a lot of my other videos too, I get calls from time to time, I sell a lot of stuff on Craigslist and use youtube videos to help so I am on the phone all the time. I don't care if people call, even if it is a prank or something dumb, I'm just as dumb back.

Funny you say that, I did not notice it either, I working on a test right now between the Yeti Roadie 20 and the new OT comparison, they hold ice pretty much the same ad the OT has more features, the Yeti is $200, OT $90
Have not finished it yet, might redo the test, I missed a day and came back and both were melted, I want to see the 4th day but still at this point I would buy the OT without a doubt but still want to make a valid test on video

Looks like the have dropped to $24, although I think the Rtic is still a better product but for that big of a price difference the OT is a better buy. Hurry up and get them before Trump puts a Tariff on them!!!

The additional “buckles” are called “D rings” and are for strapping the cooler onto things such as kayaks, motorcycles, ATV’s etc.

Lube is for the zipper
The lube is for the zipper bud. Helps water proof and slide. Thanks for video . Buy the RTIC 20 hard cooler. Way better in my opinion.

Just picked up the Ozark 20 for $24. Couldn’t pass it up. I never need ice to last in a softpac more than 12 hours.

What are the inside dimensions of both? I like to use reusable ice packs, just curious how they will lay on the bottom of the Ozark Trail cooler.
