- Keith and Jesse back at the bench! Today we picked up some after market tires from RC4WD for our Axial SCX24 Deadbolts. Here is how the different tires performed on our identically modded deadbolts. We love these micro crawlers, and with winter on the door step, we will be spending more time on our indoor micro course. We hope you enjoy, and stay tuned for more great RC builds!

Exellent, excellent TEST of this, in my opinion *THE BEST* OF ALL 1/24 Crawlers in Whole Wide World ! ! !.
The Course is also one of the TOPest I´ve ever seen so far, and because of *its difficulty* I think it proves *with NO DOUBT* the SCX24 DEADBOLT is THE BEST *even* among all others 1/24 *AXIAL Crawlers* too. And that *IS A FACT* Prior.
Why is that ?. Because the Deadbolt has a much better geometry and balance than the rest, among other unique secrets.

Hi John! Yup we fully agree the deadbolt is king of the micros! And yes! We had to have a challenging course to train on over the winters here.
I put similar geometry high clearance links on my C10 and it’s crawling like a beast

Super rad video! Just picked up a SCX24 deadbolt! I was curious about the diameter difference between the stock and those two you reviewed? Bigger? smaller? About the same?
About the same. We hear a few companies are making oil filled shocks now for these units so We’ll have to track some down and test em out.
Are there any updates for the axial gladiator?

Yup Trx4 defender light bar has bolt mounts so we have just bolted it in against roof rack to hide bolts. Cheers!
