Happy for you bro. I had a 2016 RR Sport for 4 years, only issues were PCV valve, alternator pulley, water pump leak, front suspension bushings. Drove 90K miles. Loved it so much I got a 2020 RRS P525 Autobiography with no issues yet.

I am very excited for more upcoming vids from you on this! I am most curious of the DIYs, because I've always turn away from test driving or considering this due to the brands reliability reputation (particularly the air suspension when it fails) and cost of repairs whether through the dealership or third party shops - it isn't like an Audi where there are so much aftermarket parts available and forum support on DIYs. Hopefully w/your vids, I will learn and document your DIYs - So that if I conclude to acquiring one, I am ready to save some of that money from DIYs for the future repair costs. - Congrats!
Thanks! I hope this one treats me well. I hear a lot of bad things about the Land Rovers but part of me wanted to take the risk and see. I agree with you. There isn't anything out there aftermarket or even videos for help. Wiring the radar detector, I found out the hard way.

Hm, I don't know why it's so hard to add a hitch to X5M F85, but they do have an option called Trailer Hitch Preparation. Meaning it's prewired for a trailer hitch all that has to be done is hardware and a different bumper.

Nice! The previous owner removed the badges. When I picked it up, it was missing the grille badge and hood lettering too. I have added them back!
Why doesn't the tailgate ever sit properly on them? First thing I did when I got mine was to adjust it

Crazy I was in the same boat as you, had a c63 and wanted something more casual and comfortable for daily driving. Got a range rover sport v8 like yours, very similar spec, red seats rather than blue, and white exterior, I even have the same radar detector as you and mounted in the same place!!! I guess we think the same.
I had similar reasons for choosing mine, wanted the towing capacity, air suspension, good sound system, but still decently sporty. Loving it so far
I love these Rover Sports! Rented several through Turo in different cities, just recently a 575hp 2019 SVR (black). Has an exhaust option where you push a button & choose your exhaust sound. That was insanely COOL! I'm settled on getting a V8, event though the two V6 Dynamics had plenty of acceleration and were a lot of fun. There's just something about the torque, pull and sound of a V8 that I love. Looking for the right one, kind of leaning on white with black accents/wheels.
Love it? Do you mind if I ask if you got an extend warranty? I’ve always heard Land Rovers have issues. Really curious to hear about your experience with the Rover.
I like it. Dealer wanted too much for the extended warranty so I passed. I have one more month of factory warranty remaining.

So far the Range Rover feels larger and heavier. Not really a bad thing, just a different feel. I’ll need more seat time to make a comparison.

Definitely interested in that. Had a few family members and friends have various models and years. They all said the same nice, but not reliable.
I did my apprenticeship through Land Rover here in Australia and to be honest, besides the coolant pump leaking (which is not a hard fix) I personally believe they were the most reliable package as apprised to the diesel. So long as it’s serviced on time as per requirements I saw some with quite high kilometres 👍🏼

Love both of them big time. The super charged range is fun and sounds great but I do love the x5m for personal drives.

If I’m not wrong I believe it is the same motor as a mustang gt could be wrong but I believe it shares the motor with one of the mustangs
🤔 I wonder what the engine codes are. It’s a 5.0 and Ford used to own Land Rover. Maybe someone with Land Rover knowledge might be able to provide insight. I know the new V8’s are from BMW, the S68 M engine

No, the X3 will still be my wife’s vehicle but yeah, I’m keeping the M3 unless I get somehow my channel explodes and I can get Huracán or 720s! The F80 is that good!

…only thing I don’t like is the infotainment is a little slow, and I hope you have at least the 820w Meridian sound system we had the 380w in another rover and we had to get rid of it couldn’t hear it with the windows down🤬
I agree. The processor needs an update, it lags a lot. I almost hit the M3 while backing it into the garage because the image lags behind as well.
Yes, I have the 825w Meridian. That was a must although I the 1600w was preferred since I was coming from a 1100w B&O but it hasnt been too bad. I only see those occasionally on the Autobiography and 9 times out of 10 it has the wrong interior/exterior color.
So I’m actually cross shopping both and there is just something about the range rovers road presence. The x5 just doesn’t compare to me in the looks. Congrats I love it.
I love both. The X5 seems the sportiest but the Range Rover Sport is more luxurious.
I like it, but my only problem is the after follow this channel for some reason I ended up trading in my 340i for an X5. I hope I don’t find my self looking for a Range Rover sport 😊

It’s the b58 not the s58 in the range rovers. S58 would be the M engine. Congrats on the pick up, but I don’t foresee you keeping this for very long. They get dated really fast as they’re a disposable luxury vehicle.
Nope! That wasn’t a mixup. The new Range Rover V8 is using the S68 engine from X7 M60i and X5 M60i which is using a full M engine in a non M.
@@eddiemcars Looks like we're both mistyping, but my premise is correct. The 2023 RR and RRS are continuing to use the non-M variants or the N63s as I had suspected. What's new is that the RR SVs run the S63 which is the first time a true M engine is being featured in any JLR product. BMW is pimping out its soon to be phased out ICE engines. Btw, your RRS is a million times better looking than your x5 m which looks so dated. good move.
