Crash course also has a lot of irrelevant information to make it more digestible, but I prefer to just get the information I need. And crash course gives very broad overviews without many explanations at a chemical level, although that's just my opinion.

To everyone: Try to stop the video every 30 seconds or so and tell yourself out loud the things Paul just explained. Write them down is even more helpful. Now note down questions you have and in the end go look for the answers or ask someone. This really helped me.

The Crash Course "DNA, Hot Pockets..." episode provided a great schema for understanding transcription & translation, and watching this Bozeman episode afterwards presented the same concepts I had just learned but in a different format. Paul Anderson does a great job answering questions that I had after watching the Crash Course episode - like explaining that each triplet codon codes for a specific amino acid and how he new which AA was coded, using the Standard Genetic Code table. Also, he depicted translation and the release of the protein synthesized in relation to the rough ER. Both videos were helpful building on each other - I will check out Khan Academy's next.

Mr Andersen, that was wonderful teaching!! It is so clear and clarifies my doubts. Also, thank you for explaining in detail and going through the specific processes with us! I really appreciate it!

I would be failing biology if it weren't for your videos!! I know a lot of people really appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos just to help students out!
