he always says "I hope that's helpful" at the end man you'r a genus, that's not just helpful that's a life savor Thanks I swear, you're better than my Biology Instructor
Seriously, you have the easiest to follow bio videos. CrashCoarse talks too fast for me. You talk at the right pace and introduce subjects in the right order. I also love your analogies! Keep up the great work!
I agree n they add too many random clips to make it "fun" and to make ppl laugh but honestly it just distracts me n I never learn anything. So thank you to this channel love every video
Crash course also has a lot of irrelevant information to make it more digestible, but I prefer to just get the information I need. And crash course gives very broad overviews without many explanations at a chemical level, although that's just my opinion.
I'm a 4th year biochem major at Ohio State University. Currently taking Molecular Genetics 4500. You explain in 12 minutes perfectly what my professor has failed to in 2 lectures which is 2 days of the weak at 1hour 45minutes each. The whole class is lost, I am now in the loop thanks to you sir. God Bless, -I'll tell you who I am after I pass the Class!!!! This is still the first exam coming up.
***** It was most likely recommended to you because you were watching other videos like this. if you log off or go incognito then get back on UA-cam that is what they are recommending to everyone
I hope you know how amazingly helpful your videos are for many! I could not have passed my class and understood the concepts without your easy-to-understand videos! Keep up the great work!
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!! I had to write an essay on my test about the events of transcription and translation and i couldnt have done it without you. Thank you sooo much.
+medrano c4 What is wrong with you, he is trying to help students and is doing a really great job at it. Just because your dumb and don't understand it, doesn't mean it wasn't helpful.
I am getting A's in my microbiology class cuz of you.. You have been really helpful for me and I really appreciate your time for posting such a great videos. Your videos are very fun and very very easy to understand. I had no idea on like how transcription and translation work. You can say this section freaks me out. But after watching this video i am extremely in
Almost 10 years after this was posted, I'm watching this video and learning to understand transcription and translation. Thank you so much for teaching us.
This really helped me to visualize the entire process. I'm taking a college genetics course and there are so many components involved that it's hard to put it all together in my mind in simple terms. This really helped a lot to simplify things for me. Thank you!!!
This helps so much, I was here last year in prep for my abitur and it already helped me. Now I have to remind myself of what we did in class back then and this is a perfect refresher. To everyone: Try to stop the video every 30 seconds or so and tell yourself out loud the things Paul just explained. Write them down is even more helpful. Now note down questions you have and in the end go look for the answers or ask someone. This really helped me. Greetings from Germany!
This dude is the reason I understand macromolecules, photosystems and carbon fixation, aerobic and anaerobic respiration, the cell cycle, mitosis and meiosis, and now DNA replication and Protein Synthesis (i can keep going). He is single-handedly the reason I am holding an A+ in BIO 101 up to the midterm point. Truly, a chad in every regard. Thank you Mr. Andersen. That was helpful, sir.
A thousand thank you's, Mr. Andersen. You are getting me through my college biology course. I wish all instructors had the ability to break things down and explain them in easily understandable ways. You are a very talented educator. Also, you rock!
Mr. Andersen, I have taken Genetics twice at the college level. I could never wrap my head around Transcription/Translation even when I was in high school. Thank you for your lecture. You truly have a gift for teaching.
I always think about biology as a really complex story with plot twists at every turn. The best way to study is to take the information slow and in order from beginning to end.
I love how calm he is as he explains difficult concepts. It is really good in helping me concentrate and convincing me that I can do it. An excellent teacher. Your explanations are on point. Wonderful.
Love me some Bozeman!!!!! You have gotten me through this college Bio class! It's been 20 years since I've taken Biology and that was high school BIO so THANK YOU so much for making it so simple, fun and easy!
This is very amazing. It was very difficult for me to understand transcription and translation. But with the help this significant video I was able to understand. Thanks for the great work.
I understand your teaching better than my teacher. Am always excited whenever she says "we are going to watch bozeman video" thanks dear, you are career saver.
That was the most simple, and concise video explaining DNA transcription and translation. I've relearned it so many times and this is the first time I feel like I understand what I've had to spew out in explaining for so long.
i think it is general consensus that you are the best teacher out there. Better than all our university 'professors' who cannot teach as well as you. I hope you continue to be a successful UA-camr and teacher. I can confidently say there are many students graduating their courses because of you.
This is by far the clearest and easiest to follow explaination I have seen! You are an amazing teacher! I know a few of us in AP 1 passed from watching your you tube videos! YOU ARE INCREDIBLE THANK YOU
Your videos have been helping me since I was a junior in high school and now I am a junior in college and I still come to reference your videos for quick reviews before exams. Thank you so much!! :)
You sir have made this wayyyy easier to understand then any textbook. My Anatomy and Physiology teacher recommended your videos for better understanding and she was definitely pointing us in the right direction if we didn't understand it or parts of it. Thank you so much for being so helpful!
This video's great! It would be much appreciated if there were 5' > 3'/directionality statements in your DNA decoding sequence. I had a lot of confusion of which strand is the template strand and which one is the coding/nontemplate strand.
Your videos are incredibly simple in explanation yet advanced in information, you put so much work in and help so many folk, thank you very much on behalf of all of your viewers for all of your hard work as it has helped so many of us to understand science and that is incredible.
This was soo helpful. Like whenever im in class i just don't get it, but when i watch your videos, its a whole new thing. No words, love it Thank you for such lovely tutorials
Seriously, you are gifted! Had to reach back and teach AP bio to my daughter during the COVID school closure. Reaching back to college bio after 20 years... not possible. Thank you so much!!!!
I cant even begin to tell you how helpful your video is. I pay so much money to get some professors that are not even half as a good as you are at teaching. And I can get this information for free on the internet! You sir are a saint!
This was really helpful. When I was learning transcription and translation in my Biology class, it was just really confusing. Thank you so much for helping me understand this in a simple but effective way.
Thank you so much!!!! I am a Chemistry teacher and it's just terrific for my class. My students will never say they did not understand.....thanks to you
Paul, for the example of a gene sequence on DNA, the stop sequence should be ATT and not AUU. DNA doesn't have Uracil. Thanks for all videos that you are posting. They are very helpful.
Best understood... I tried to understand transcriptn n trnsltn for 2 yrs but I didnt.. n now I just undrstd it in 11 mins.. thnku vry much.....its gonna help me alot for my zoology exm ..which is in 2 days.thnxx again...
The Crash Course "DNA, Hot Pockets..." episode provided a great schema for understanding transcription & translation, and watching this Bozeman episode afterwards presented the same concepts I had just learned but in a different format. Paul Anderson does a great job answering questions that I had after watching the Crash Course episode - like explaining that each triplet codon codes for a specific amino acid and how he new which AA was coded, using the Standard Genetic Code table. Also, he depicted translation and the release of the protein synthesized in relation to the rough ER. Both videos were helpful building on each other - I will check out Khan Academy's next.
Mr Andersen, that was wonderful teaching!! It is so clear and clarifies my doubts. Also, thank you for explaining in detail and going through the specific processes with us! I really appreciate it!
I turn/look for your videos for help with my biology class! You explain very well and they are VERY helpful!! Thank you for posting them and taking the time to do so!!! They are GREAT :)

@@kadijahedwards1684 r/Woosh, it was a pun on the word gene.
my bio teacher makes us listen to this and not takes in class or give us lectures, so he basically is our teacher :)
No he is species hahahaahahahahahahahahahah
Seriously, you have the easiest to follow bio videos. CrashCoarse talks too fast for me. You talk at the right pace and introduce subjects in the right order. I also love your analogies! Keep up the great work!
garret nelson I also found that CrashCourse talks wayyyyy to fast! Maybe they are trying to shorten the video or cover a lot in a short span of time.
I find that watching crash course first, to get a little knowledge, and then watch one of his videos helps me a lot
I agree n they add too many random clips to make it "fun" and to make ppl laugh but honestly it just distracts me n I never learn anything. So thank you to this channel love every video
+Dutton Rogers same! i love both of the channels tho. also ameba sisters are also good

so how did it turn out
Did you pass?
Did you pass? What's your name? We've been waiting 5 years to resolve the mystery who are you!?
R. Brahmbhatt did you pass
its been 9 years dwag tell us the whole world is anticipating in silence for the grand reveal
this man should be sugested as recommanded clip in the utubes homepage.. not miley cyris or justin bieber..
***** maybe they listened to me lol :D
Just shut your fuck up and keep on watching,Bitch 😒
Talzawa damn
***** It was most likely recommended to you because you were watching other videos like this. if you log off or go incognito then get back on UA-cam that is what they are recommending to everyone
If you are getting justin bieber and miley cyrus recommended to you it is probably because you watch him and her or music videos like theres alot lol
you did a better job at explaning than my bio teacher ever will, thanks man!
@Trisha Kumar nothing wrong with noting that your teacher isn’t a good teacher. Not everyone can explain things properly
I hope you know how amazingly helpful your videos are for many! I could not have passed my class and understood the concepts without your easy-to-understand videos! Keep up the great work!

Medrano is probably a bot. I see comments like these in many videos, I know you're trying to defend Bozeman but there's really no point.

Currently reviewing for a big certification exam to become a biotechnician assistant. Your videos are by far the most helpful tool. Thank you so much!

Best biology videos on UA-cam --Extremely understandable. Thanks for sharing :)
This is the most helpful video of transcription and translation! Super clear! Thanks so much. Truly appreciated.
