    The most underrated trail skill. Especially as you get older and only have so much energy. Takes a lot less energy than a bunny hop.

    Dude, in my time riding, I have seen a lot of content that covers pretty much every aspect of our sport - jumping being by far the largest part where I am looking to get as many sources for hints and tips as possible.
    You Mister, the way you look at all the facettes of jumping and how you bring it to us is unreal and unmatched - no other video(s) I have seen out there covers the bells and whistles like you do. Thanks to you I believe I have found the source for me going off to the sides while airborne.
    Thank you man!

    Your breakdowns of jumping has been perfect for my skill level, I've graduated past the simple cues often used and was looking for more technical understanding that I can associate with the feel I get when I nail a jump correctly. It's been perfect.

    Video ideas, how to get over the mental block. I can do drops up to 3ft after that I block. Another one, I can turn left no problem but in tight berms turning right I'm more apprehensive. How to get more confidence and practice techniques? Thank you and keep up the great videos

      pretend the larger drop is just 3 ft or less. then send it. (may be combined with @johnhausmann2391 's suggestion

      @@alexjustme1982 welcome man! I’d say start with the bunny hop then go the the bump jump to dial in your timing then watch our debunk stand up to the lip. It’s our jump 101. I’ll try and make a play list so others can take the steps as well.

      @@alexjustme1982 oh yeah e-bikes are not fun to learn the Jhop with if you have a acoustic bike use that. The battery just makes the initial wheel lift that much harder. Make sure to keep your chest from falling through the jhop That will help create more leverage

    • @Coolcmsc
      @Coolcmsc 2 місяці тому

      @@Theshredacademy The bunny hop learning thing with an eeb is definitely harder: good advice about the acoustic as technique is the solution (I can’t give up the eeb at my age 😂). Tip: I don’t have an acoustic, so I took the battery out to learn this low-speed low-impact drill (is the battery a structural element…? Nobody seems to know).
