I had the barista pro for 5 months. Great machine. Eventually upgraded to the dual boiler. But i highly recommend it for people that do want to get into the barista game.
Another great showdown video! I would love to see a separate video demonstrating the cold brew recipe on the La Specialista Arte Evo. Keep up the great work, Team ECS!
The way you demonstrated the results of milk steaming made my day! I agree, nobody deserves to see that shame!) And your beautyful eyes said everything.)
Love my Barista Pro. Make sure when performing flushes, use use the disc that has a hole in it. Older models came with a flush disc without a hole. Using that disc without the hole will prematurely damage the 3 way solenoid valve.
I thought it was the other way around: the older machines had a hole and required something under the portafilter while backflushing. I have a fairly recent machine, Barista Touch Impress, same body as this one, and it came with the solid backflush disc. Instructions for backflushing also do not mention putting a collection vessel under the portafilter… anyway, I think it’s the older machines (like the Barista Express) that came with a backflush disc with a hole.
Do you think the Breville Barista Pro is better than the original Delonghi La Specialista? Considering the Breville Pro is 265$ more expensive+ I've heard some pretty negative things about the Breville Pro machine
@@ecscoffeeinc Just got it few hours ago, hope I'll get along with it... hope the extra accessories/tools I've bought will do me well☕☺️ The Delonghi Dinamica+ (370.95.t ) wasn't for me so I returned it:/ Expecting it to last and be a superb machine for many years to come🙏🤞

@@krnl386 You are correct! You want to use the disc that has no hole :)

We love the barista pro! Especially the steam wand. They have now also upgraded the machine to use Baratza burrs!
