Thank you. I have the Touch Impress and see you have to pull blank shots to get your Americano . I’m at max 4 brew temp and get 135F -145F. What temps are you getting on Amercano’ and Black Tea?
Hi! Thanks for the review! I have read in multiple places how the shots were wildly inconsistent compared to the regular touch (not impress). Like the same issues happened on a few touch impress machines (multiple replacements) that they returned and got the touch. This is the only thing holding me back. Thanks in advance!
if you drink espresso and want more control over the whole process (separate grinder, manual tamp, etc) then i would recommend getting a manual espresso machine. The one in my video is semi-automatic so there are certain aspects that the machine takes care of. I almost never drink espresso by itself but mostly milk based drinks (latte, cappuccino, flat white, etc.) and it tastes great in my opinion. fresh beans work best, but packaged beans tasted good too lol. when you say inconsistent do you mean the duration time to pull an espresso shot?
Thanks for the great video. I have seen posts about problems with the screen showing error during frothing, and/or the frothing process stopping during heating. Have you experienced this issue?
i have not had this problem at all. i bought this machine back in early summer 2023 (when it first came out in the US) and it's still running strong. just had latte earlier this morning. hopefully it will continue to work for years to come.
I've had this machine for 6 months now and I love it, so glad I decided to spend the extra on the Touch Impress model. I usually use fresh beans but I was bought some non fresh beans and I found I couldn't knock them out the portafilter for some reason. I ended up having to use a blunt instrument to scrape them out, this was with the single and double walled insert. Not a big deal as I much prefer the organic fresh beans I have found from a local roaster that make the best coffee I have ever tasted. The weathers hot at the moment so I'm going to try doing a Caramel Frap tomorrow 🤤
we make ice coffee with the espresso, so good. yes sometimes the old grounds come out easy and sometimes it takes a few knocks. do you use a knock box?
@@HaiTech I don't have a knock box, in the uk we have food caddies that waste food goes in to be composted so I just knock it into that. It could just be that brand of beans, like I said I usually stick to 1 brand of fresh.
@@beamer1001One of the main purposes of a knock box is to protect your portafilter. Banging it on hard surfaces like a waste bin will damage it over time. Highly recommend a knockbox so you can bang as hard as you like and not have to worry about damaging or being too loud thanks to the rubber.

no, this one can only do one at a time. you can have the milk ready and in place so that immediately after the espresso is finished the milk will be steamed. but it can not do both at the same time. the one that can do both is the Oracle
I saw creamy coffee on your personal settings , could you please explain if its possible to brew a lungo or caffe crema with this machine ? lungo is noramlly 1:3 ratio and about 110ml ...
you will not be able to add hot water during the espresso extraction which is what a Lungo. You would be able to add hot water immediately after the espresso is excracted, which would be an Americano. does it taste any different? Caffe crema is a long espresso shot. Because this is a semi automatic the extraction time varies on the grind size. i find that if it's too coarse it extracts fast and in shorter time. i think caffe crema may be a bit harder to do with this machine, at least on a consistent basis.
Did you run each drink 1 after the other or did you rest the machine between each drink. I have heard the machine cant handle pulling multiple drinks in 1 go
i have made drinks for 4-5 people back to back with no issues at all. in this video i made all of those drinks back to back with short breaks between as i had to clean the portafilter, and prepare the next drink.

while i can't really compare the 2 since I have not used the DeLonghi. I'm guessing you're referring to the Eletta Explore? i use store bought beans too. the default intelligent grind is 15 believe. you always want to start there, as you grind it will remember your settings so that the next time you grind you wont' have to keep tapping the screen to grind "a bit more". now once you start extracting the espresso the screen has a timer with the duration. if it's too fast it may auto adjust your grind (for next time) down a number (15 to 14). if it's too slow it may adjust your grind (for next time) up a number (15 to 16). you can always override this by turning the dial (on the left side of the machine). don't adjust the grind more than 2 numbers. when i first purchased the machine (or when i use a new bag of beans) i always start at 15 and after about 1-2 drinks my machine would be optimally set for a while. hope that helps

don't you think that the espresso is too concentrated and too "ristretto", I am Italian and when you go to the bar you are more coffee in your cup. I bought it a few weeks ago, but i am not fully happy
are you using fresh beans or packaged ones from the store? try warming up the group head first. the taste is so subjective that I can't give you a definite answer. what tastes great to me may not be for you, or vice versa. If you are someone who likes to have control over every aspect of the espresso making process than this machine is not for you. you would want to go with a fully manual machine.
does it make an espresso? if you're an espresso perfectionist the machine works best with fresh beans less than 2 weeks old. I've used the machine with fresh beans and it smells, looks, and tastes amazing. since fresh beans are more expensive and the location to buy some is far from me, I just use cost effective costco beans lol. smells great, looks good, tastes great.

i wish it was. After testing and testing and testing with more than 15 different coffees types I come across the problem...this Thermojet machines fail to make water 93C thats why I have to grind very very thin to block the stream of water so it heats more but even that ways mine never reaches 78 Celcius so I am returning it and buying real expresso machines with boiler instead of Thermojet so anyone looking to buy such product stay away from it...totally useless! Even if you change temp in settings doesn't matter its same temp, if you want to make a tea or if you run it without coffee ( temp max is 58-62c ) so it fails to reach 93c optimal temp as machines with boiler do.
Nice demonstration. Marshmallows with hot chocolate, or indeed, any milk drink , give me a queasy stomach. Americans have their taste buds adjusted to the weirdest things, don’t they?

are you using fresh beans or packaged ones from the store? try warming up the group head first. the taste is so subjective that I can't give you a definite answer. what tastes great to me may not be for you, or vice versa. If you are someone who likes to have control over every aspect of the espresso making process than this machine is not for you. you would want to go with a fully manual machine.
damaged?
does it make an espresso? if you're an espresso perfectionist the machine works best with fresh beans less than 2 weeks old. I've used the machine with fresh beans and it smells, looks, and tastes amazing. since fresh beans are more expensive and the location to buy some is far from me, I just use cost effective costco beans lol. smells great, looks good, tastes great.
@@HaiTech wat is je probleem, waarom maak je een grapje over koffie zetten met bonen, ik zei eerlijk gezegd dat de machine van 1100 euro geen goede koffie zet!! mijn verwachtingen waren compleet anders!!!!
Three time tamping?! Im out…
Please enjoy your eXpresso.
sho will
This is Oracle Jet, not Barista Touch
i wish it was. The oracle Jet is the latest model and it's a super automatic. which means that it does the grind, and tamp for you. the brista touch impress in this video is a semi-auto machine. the touchscreen on the new oracle Jet is black, has wireless updates, etc. but at the time of me writing this, the oracle jet is $2000 and the barista touch impress is $1200.
That first poor is too slow
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Too watery!
“Espresso” not “expresso.” 🤦🏻♂️
you get the point
Nice demonstration.
Marshmallows with hot chocolate, or indeed, any milk drink , give me a queasy stomach. Americans have their taste buds adjusted to the weirdest things, don’t they?
It's espresso, not expresso.
lol, just caught that. thanks!
actually, it depends on where you live. In France, and probably other French-speaking countries "expresso" is common pronunciation.
How do the Italians write it?

@@adamk341it's still wrong, lol
pet peeve :)
Immediately stopped watching when the Costco beans came out 🤦
lol, i had to use what was available. I've used fresh beans too, but for demonstration purposes the costco beans got the point across. go back and finish watching!
can't understand all the comments were about the guy how he did as a presenter or as an actor no one said the coffee machine is complete garbage I bought this machine 25/08/2024 and I am absolutely not satisfied I am very disappointed worst possible purchase of my life , not what I expected big ads but really rubbish and pretty big rubbish if I had taken Delonghi I wouldn't have regretted it!!!!!😢😢😢😢😢
what's wrong with it?
@@HaiTech it doesn't make good foam, and the coffee I use is illy beans, the machine costs 1100 euros, I've tried many different ways of preparation, but it doesn't work and it doesn't work, I had a far cheaper Iperespresso x7 machine from illy, where it costs 219 euros, and I'm very satisfied, perfect coffee with perfect foam and this sage is just garbage tell me what to do?
@@emilsadulovuser define "it doesn't work". what does that mean?
@@emilsadulovuseryour first issue is spending 1k on a coffee machine and buying store bought beans off a shelf. You need fresh roasted beans.
Why does your shot look ugly lol
fresh beans will look much better
