If you enjoy any sport at all - if you believe in the human spirit and the willingness to keep one's head up and continue against impossible odds - there's no way you don't become emotional watching this match. If you don't cry at the final match winner, you're not human.
I won my first ever trophy in 2012 because in the semifinals, my opponent was up 2-0 and 10-6 in the 3rd game, but then I Michael Mazed my way to the finals.
HAO SHUAI HAD LET MAZE PASS UNDER THE INJUNCTION OF HIS COACH AS EVERYONE CAN SEE HAO COMPLETELY STOPPED PLAYING AFTER THE TIMEOUT REQUESTED BY HIS COACH WHEN HE DID NOT NEED IT AT THIS STAGE
I don't think this is luck. I think Michael Maze and his coach found the weakness of Shuai Hao and made great tactics. In set 1,2 and 3, we can see Hao can't handle Maze's lobs and Maze got several points from that. In the 'final' stage of the match, this tactics worked again and Hao's confidence collapsed. Maybe the lob tactics didn't win the match for Maze. The confidence balance is the real reason.
Can some one explain to me how people say Michael maze is one of the best servers he has a really good serve. I don't get it just seems like a regular old pendulum serve?
Daniel Octavio Avilez all of his serves are reverse pendulum, but they're loaded with spin and are expertly placed. Hao struggled with controlling them and that set up the points for maze
Since this match, Hao Shuai has been famous for not good at returning high balls
Chang Wang bro MM is best in lob
@@moinlakhani3139 XX is
And getting whacked in the head by the Chinese coach!
I actually regard this match as the greatest of all time in terms of emotion and tactics. It stuns me each time I watch it.
I suspect that one dislike is from Hao Shuai himself.
+Doruk Efe Gökmen It actually is from Hao Shuai
+Vele Korunoski Seriously? Or are you kidding? :P
+Justin X I can't even tell whether YOU are serious
I'm guessing you are though.
and his four cousins cuz it's at 5 dislikes now
A great match, I was the main referee of that match, the experience was great. Greetings
Really???? U don't lie??? Marco u lie.
I love how the coach for maze was literally shaking ... could barely drink his water bottle
One of my more favourite coaches i have ever seen
Peter Sartz, Swedish trainer for the Danish men for many many years. He produced the best results for the Danish men of all time.
Some say the offspring of hao shuai and michael maze is called how amazing
the most under-rated comment ever
How can we possibly forget such a comeback! Beautiful and inspiring.

Michael Maze forever.
Shuai got so impatient with his strokes and his receives were terrible.
Michael Maze, nerves of steel.
7:51 flick😍
The best 13 minutes of TT which I saw on YT! 5*
6:57 What a save tho
I still remember this, haha
HAO SHUAI HAD LET MAZE PASS UNDER THE INJUNCTION OF HIS COACH AS EVERYONE CAN SEE HAO COMPLETELY STOPPED PLAYING AFTER THE TIMEOUT REQUESTED BY HIS COACH WHEN HE DID NOT NEED IT AT THIS STAGE
at his prime he could beat Timo even with his left hand :D
Good times when there was celluloid ball. Wish they brought it back
i bet the set numbers wasnt actually there. you put them there right?
it was the quarterfinal :)
Comeback starts at 6:30. Down 3-0 in sets and 10-7 in the 4th set.
aMAZEing
Maze found Shiau's one weakness: smashing high balls
Poor Hao he had Maze on the floor and a matchpoint. Easier to lay it over
alltime talent Hao
Incredible !
6:57 is a point at 99.99% but this time wasn't enough and that moment change the match course.
Maze is amazing
Sehr gut, ein Hoch der Ballonabwehr.
How about 2010 World Cup Semifinal Zhang Jike vs Mizutani?
I watched it live that time on tv...how time flies. wtf. I was 10 years or so. Now I´m 28... ;(
Respect man!
amazzzzzzzzzzing maze супер!!!!
Yes, be aMAZEd by maze!
CHAOW!!!
wtf! the Prince is back
Yes
Ingen slog Maze DANMARK lets go
Imagine maze after that beat malin & wang liqin 😳
he wanted to win ,so he won
that is what happened
Ibrahim Saad Hao fell to pressure and made basic mistakes but Maze didn't seem too bothered
amazingggh
Que jogo incrível!!!
Statist game.

Which round?
now i now how maze was good before..XD
12.48 that was a chivalrous fair play move
lol the commentator had to eat his words whrn he wrote Maze off.
Hao shuai disappeared like fart in the wind
Maze really destroyed Hao Shuai’s table tennis career in this match. Because of this match, Hao could never rise up to become a great player.
the second best comeback lol
What equipment used MM in this game?
+Juan Pablo Lozano I believe the blade is Butterfly Michael Maze, which is a arylate carbon blade.
Michael Maze blade with Bryce on forehand and sriver el on backhand.

TCHOOOOOOOOOOOOO
nasty shake hands with chinese coach
this is the game that ruined hao shuai career. he was demoted to the B team in china.
HAO come he lost it? Truly aMAZEd!
wow maze got so lucky

x yl maze seemed so relaxed and Hao seemed under pressure
dat psyke
Then next game Ma Lin schooled Maze

Lobbing killed him. Hao go home and practice your smashing techniques.
Can some one explain to me how people say Michael maze is one of the best servers he has a really good serve. I don't get it just seems like a regular old pendulum serve?
you really need a hd closeip slowmo to see how he puts spin on the ball + he has very good placement
Daniel Octavio Avilez all of his serves are reverse pendulum, but they're loaded with spin and are expertly placed. Hao struggled with controlling them and that set up the points for maze
@@daejoons1012 nah he also served normal pendulum serves
Racial triumph. Amazing
all those obnoxious chos for naught, lol
cho 😂😂
Bah, way too easy for the danish player.
