That's how I would describe this version.
They didn't quite catch the original's surreal calming feel of being alone and the safety that small piece of space of a room offers.
So peaceful and aesthetic

RE4 is my favorite of ALL TIME, and Capcom absolutely BLEW MY MIND with this remake! Stunning, beautiful, more emotion and tension, and Leon is a TRUE HERO 💖💖💖 Thank you, Capcom, for doing so right by my favorite video game character ever! 💖💖

Listening to this while I wait for the remake and to be honest one my favourite songs from RE and was my first one I played out of the series, I’ll never forget when I was 5 or 6 years old playing this for the first time.

Not from a nostalgia stand point, but am I the only one that thinks this theme is just kinda…weird?
I like it but it does sound kinda off. Probably becuase I'm used to the original. You can get the og soundtrack for remake tho so if you really don't like it that's always an option.
I don't ever let nostalgia get in the way and make my decisions but for this particular theme, as it is really good, I do prefer the original. Not knocking on it though. Thanks Blitz! 🫡
