The Meteors have been hammering out their no-nonsense cranked up rockabilly and rock n roll for the best part of a quarter century. Essentially the Meteors are guitarist/singer P Paul Fenech, legendary man of attitude with a guitar style best described as dangerous.
Recorded on 21 December 1983, in front of a packed, sweaty audience, LIVE AT THE HELLFIRE CLUB features most of the bands early classics and includes three tracks not includes on the video release.

Im 58 but i still dont worry about it. I put the meteors on at family gatherings, my 7 year old grandaughter loves it when i start dancing ❤ Happy days

I remember seeing the meteors and Burntwood baths early 80s I was a mod at the time but used to have lots of psycobilly mates great gig so much energy miss those days

Paul & Co. played Knoxville TN on 8-13-2022 with his current lineup (bass, drums). The energy is still powerful.
Everyone from"da bizznizz" spent years telling me what an undesirable **** Mr Fenech reputedly is but when I finally got to DJ on the same bill 7 years ago he was the most sound "known" Punk/Alternative/Psycho/Ska frontman I'd ever fuckin worked with. He watched all the support acts and is a fuckin diamond geezer. Fuck Politics, Hate People, Love the Meteors.

I remember bringing that green Fender across the border from France for him because he already had a bunch and the list was full
I never saw one like that before.
He gave me his old Ibanez iceman, that was a great looking guitar, one of the best looking guitars I had in my collection.
My 1950s Hofner president semi acoustic was my favourite.
PPF had an amazing collection of guitars, every make most models.
Great times travelling around England Scotland Ireland & most of Europe from 1980 to mid 84 , we used to have the Van used by the British Olympic Bob sleigh team , until it was completely trashed in France, French lad Tarzan was driving and decided to change lanes at one of the toll booths and mistimed it totally wrecking it .
That thing was fast , a tuned up V6 it would get us from Clapham sarf in London to Birmingham in well under an hour.
Not bad for the early 1980s
Brings back such memories, although we used to mainly see them in Adam and Eves in Leeds
Still here man, what days. Roady Longhorn. Wishaw, Ayr and many more nights. Speed and Kattle and Crew. Stomped all over the UK. Supported them too. What freedom we had ladies and gents, look at poor bastards now. Gerbils.

Bringing back some great memories
I saw them live in Pontypridd about 85, I had long hair and an orange Afghan coat on and somehow managed to not get my head kicked in. It was a great gig. 😂
