Yea, my hands are still good for the most part, back is another issue. I to have fished for everything, but crappie is what I love most. Thank you for watching 🙏
Eastern Ky, I fish cave run lake, Grayson lake, Yatesville lake. Early Spring and Winter. I normally quit daytime fishing after the bluegill nest and the weather gets so hot. Tie my own jigs and do my own powder coating. I love to tie with squirrel tail. Getting ready to go to Lake Erie fir walleye this weekend fir a week.
That’s awesome James, I lived in Michigan in early 80’s and got to fish Erie once for walleye, was the best tasting fish I’ve ever had. Hope you catch a lot.
Southeast Georgia. Crappie is one of those hard to come by fish around. They’re in the rivers but difficult to target. Some ponds have them but by and large most people are chasing bream bass and catfish. Saltwater inshore is starting to fire up and we’ll be chasing the speckled trout bite till January or extreme cold sets in.
Really enjoy your videos about fishing. It would be great if you could let us know what fly or bug you used fly fishing for the bluegill. We have fly rods we used for 20 years in Montana for trout and will now use for crappie and bluegill fishing here. We also do tie our own flys, so that is nice to see some of the jigs you tie. . After living in Montana we moved to South Dakota and spent 25 years there where we fished for walleye and northern pike. We moved to Northeastern Alabama 1 and a half years ago to retire and hopefully get more southern fishing done. God Bless.
Great idea wish i had thought off that just started tying jigs recently will have to try that one. Thank again for the great tips keep up good work. God bless
Really neat pattern, I'll have to tie some up. One thing that would make tying this pattern easier would be to turn the fly around and clamp the hook eye in your vice after you push the rubber body forward and clamp it off. This way you wouldn't have to make such big loops around your hemostats offering better thread control. Best of luck.
Concord Nc. Seems like I always miss the spawn. My best day was July 4 98 degrees. Filled the cooler in a couple hours. I'm going to use planer boards now until they get on brush.
Greetings from Clinton, Arkansas! Good lookin jig. I enjoy your vids, especially the intros. I am wondering which line you prefer and which lb. test and what is your opinion about the Mr. Crappie 4lb Hi Viz line.
Did great, I haven’t had a chance to fish much this year. But definitely looking forward to doing some more fishing and filming first chance I get. Thank you for watching 🙏
I went back a few times checking my baskets, looking for any other fish, all I had was tadpoles and shiners. I’ll be making another video soon on how it’s going.
Good looking jig. Live here in Jasper Alabama and I fish year around. Hit me up sometime we’ll take a trip on the Warrior G’s landing or Franklin Ferry.
Cool jig..... I've never had the notion to make those type jigs.... Look like they work for you......
I like to learn different ones and I can incorporate some of my favorite plastics into them. Hopefully I get a chance to try them out this week.
Glad to see your hands are still nimble enough to tie ! We fish all year and for everything. Add a little gravy with that squirl! God bless yall!

I watched a couple different ways to hold the plastic forward, but I have the hemostats and preferred using those, no other video used them.
@@awfoutdoors6299 looks like a good way I watched the video on powder coating jig heads and made some of those also. Enjoy your videos so much.
Great idea wish i had thought off that just started tying jigs recently will have to try that one. Thank again for the great tips keep up good work. God bless
