  • In todays video I send the Trifecta 125 grain fixed down range! All new head for 2023 that has some unique features to it. This style of head is referred to as a modular design head. This head is capable of being a 100 grain fixed head, 2 different cut sized mechanical heads in 100 grain, a 125 grain fixed, a 125 grain mechanical and a 150 grain fixed! All this is achieved by simply swapping out the blades to the desired grain that you wish to shoot! 6 different options available for weights and cut sizes while using the same ferrule for every option! The ferrule and blades are made of 420 stainless. The blades in this 125 grain fixed are .078” thick! When utilizing that thick of blades in a broadhead application and the fact that they’re single beveled , it’s gonna create a wound channel that isn’t gonna be easy for any animal to close up. I’m super impressed with these heads and how they performed and all the options that are available! I’ll be getting my hands on some 150 grain fixed asap as I’ve decided to run a 150 grain head out of my Omnia. For this test I’m using my Bowtech SS 34 set at 29” of draw length 64# of draw weight on performance mode! Shooting the all new SuperNova SD arrows from Sirius Archery coming in at 525 grains taw. Please if you like what you see in this video please like and feel free to comment as I reply to every single one. That one flew awesome. Do you do anything to your bow before each video for that particular head? Or just change heads and shoot? 👍👍

      So far every head I’ve tested from Trifecta has flew amazing! Nope nothing special was done prior to shooting this head or any of the heads I test. My bow is tuned and I build all my own arrows and try to get them as consistent and precise as I can. Really excited to carry some of the Trifectas in my quiver this year! Thanks for watching 🏹🎯

      @@keystonestatebowmen3128 one really awesome head for sure. That design should create great blood trails.

      @@timbow50 for sure! From the pics I’ve already seen they definitely create some massive devastation and very good blood trails. The modularity of this head is incredible. With the same ferrule you can turn this head into a 100 grain fixed, 2 different cut sizes of 100 grain mechanical, a 125 grain fixed, a 125 grain mechanical and a 150 grain fixed! All by simply replacing the blades!

    How much total weight up front do you have in your arrow setup with that 300 spine Supernova? Thanks. 🏹

      This setup has 225 up front. 100 grain stainless steel half out and 125 grain head. Arrows are cut to 28 1/4” carbon to carbon. Thanks for watching! 🏹🎯

    I’m thinking of using trying the 150g after watching John Lusk’s review on them. My question is on the super Nova’s your shooting? How are they working out? Have you been able to shoot anything to test them? What made you decide on the 300 spine. I sure would appreciate any information. The Ranch Fairy just about has me talked into buying some. But I’ve never spent that kind of money on 6 arrows before. Thank you for making your video.

      I’ve got some of the 150s coming for my other bow I have. So far they’ve been working out really well as far as consistency and quality goes. I’ve haven’t been able to take any animals with them yet unfortunately but from what I’ve seen from the Sirius crew they’ll take a beating and go right back in the quiver. I went with the 300 spine because my Bowtech SS34 only has 60 lbs limbs and I was right on the line with either a 250 or 300 spine. Opted for the 300s and they tuned perfectly! My other bow is an Elite Omnia with 70 lbs limbs, I’ve got 6 Sirius Geminis arriving tomorrow I’m 250 spine. Sirius arrows are amazing and their customer service is second to none! If you get the 6 Super Nova SDs they’re actually pretty affordable and are very good quality coming in at around $78. You’re more than welcome and thanks for watching! If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask! 🏹🎯

      @@C.Fowler absolutely! I reply to every comment I receive and enjoy interacting and helping people with questions and concerns. Well if all goes well I’ll be building those arrows tomorrow and depending on when the heads come in I’m hoping to shoot them this weekend and get a review made up for them!       I went with the 300 spine Gemini’s; lighter gpi than the Apollos; 175 grain broadhead gave me greater FOC at about 18%; at 544 grains total arrow weight;

    Did you have to broadhead tune with those heads?

    • @keystonestatebowmen3128
      @keystonestatebowmen3128  Рік тому

      No I did not do anything special to get these heads to group with field points. Both my bows are paper tuned and I’ve had my arrows all spine aligned from the factory. I fletch them accordingly and cut them myself and build them to the highest consistency I can. For the trifecta heads I simply screwed it on to my arrow and sent it down range. Thanks for watching and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask 🏹🎯
