    Magnus had a single bevel... It was called the "Magnus Classic 150 grain single bevel". Look it up. If they had added a tanto tip to it and released THAT one...

    • @MagnusBroadheads
      @MagnusBroadheads 3 місяці тому

      That is not correct. I am the founder and owner of magnus and we never had a magnus classic 150 grain single bevel. We sold our traditional line of glue on broadheads in 2012 to Thundervalley and they were called magnus classics but there was never a magnus classic single bevel broadhead. Thank you

      Sounds like a very nice setup! Lots of knockdown power outta that baby I’m betting. I do also have a video on the channel featuring the new 150 single bevel. Quite impressed with that head myself and can’t wait to see and get my hands on some of the Buzzcut versions when they release! Thanks for watching 🏹🎯

      Yes sir! Can’t say enough good things about the Sirius Gemini arrow as they haven’t disappointed since they released. Running the same arrows out of both my setups (Mathews Lift 29.5 and Hoyt Alpha X 30) just with different vanes. Going to start tinkering with a build to use the Magnus Bullhead for spring gobbler season here very shortly. Thanks for watching 🏹🎯

      @@keystonestatebowmen3128 because I only pull 60-61#’s I’m waiting on the 125 grain head. That way I can keep at least some sort of arrow speed. If they don’t get them out this year I will just keep using the black hornets 125’s.

      @@timbow50 I’m not sure if it’s in the plans for them to make the single bevel in 125. I know I heard if there’s a demand for it they might consider going heavier but I thought I read or watched somewhere that they won’t make it in anything less than 150 so they don’t compromise durability. Regardless the black Hornet is a wicked head and one of my all time favorites.

      I draw 61-62#’s with 125’s black hornets. Never have a problem getting pass thru hits on deer. On pigs I use the slick trick standards for better blood trails.

    Hi Keystone: Now that you have been shooting these for awhile how do they fly in a 15 MPH wind at 40 or 50 yards compared to the 125’s? Do the 150s with the sharpened rear back out of your target easier then the 125’s without the sharpened rear? Have you been able to take any critters with them yet? Thanks in advance for your reply and videos, I’ve been a subscriber for awhile now!

      @keystonestatebowmen3128 4 місяці тому

      Thanks for the comment and for being a longtime subscriber! I would definitely say you’d see some drift with that high of wind being the 150s have such a big cut. In my testing of them the 125s definitely fly better than the 150s just due to pure design and surface area. I unfortunately haven’t taken any animals with them and have been running Magnus heads in my quiver. Trifecta definitely makes a great head that’s very versatile, I’m just partial to my Magnus heads. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos and appreciate your support! Thanks for watching 🏹🎯
