$70 for the same old discs stacked into a steelbook with a new bonus disc is insane
I own them all individually on Blu-ray already. I wish they would release the Laid To Rest films to Blu-ray steelbook here in America

The Movie Crypt podcast that Adam Green and Joe Lynch do is amazing it’s been my favorite podcast for years. They have great guests and it gets very personal and candid.
I’d love to support this release, but the stacked discs are a deal breaker for me.

I just got the Walmart exclusive Forest Gump 4K/Blu-ray/CD (soundtrack) 5-disc release. Because they are stacked, one of my soundtrack CD’s was all scratched up as soon as I opened it up. So, I don’t like Steelbook box sets, because they are always stacked on top of one another.

Psycho walked so that Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Victor Crowley, Art the Clown, Leatherface could run. Without Psycho, slasher films would be in a very different place. Norman Bates started it all.

I don't think Hatchet fully broke into the mainstream at all. Unlike Terrifier where people that haven't even seen the movies have now heard of Art the Clown. Most people except hardcore horror junkies have ever heard of Victor Crowley.
I had them all on blu-ray, but I had to grab this for the new features and the bonus disc. I have the first Hatchet signed by Adam Green so I wasn't concerned with getting a signed copy of this set. I got it in order to make room and get rid of my blu-rays of 2, 3, and 4, but I am not a fan of the stacked disc's.

Wish they had done a 4K of the first one at least.

I’d love to get this but $70 for 4 films on blu ray, a couple new features, and stacked discs? Like I don’t mind stacked discs but they couldn’t have at least done 4Ks? Or at least a 4K of the first? Especially since the blu rays seem to just be the old ones repackaged, hope the next release they release isn’t this money hungry. I got each film separately on blu ray a few years back but I do wish to have this steelbook one day

I'm 43 and grew up on old school slashers. When Hatchet came out it felt like an oasis after being stuck in the desert.
And the fact that Adam Green fills the movies with so many horror icons, makes it even better.

For the first movie - were the special features on your disc in a weird aspect ratio? Like squished to the left and into a square? I've never owned the standalone Blu-ray so idk if they're like that on all Dark Sky Films blu-rays or just in this set?
Sounds like they put old features from before blu ray was a thing, it happens a lot with older films. Especially new films at the time released pre-blu ray. I’m sure you’re fine but if you wanna be safe and just ask for a replacement they might be up to help

I own the first Hatchet movie on DVD and part two and Victor Crowley on Blu-ray but I don't have part three or the original I know Hatchet three isn't the best but the extras for this set are worth it just for that is there another way to get this set other than Dark Sky

I much prefer the terrier films.... I never cared much for the hatchet series. I also hate the look of these movies. I'll give them another try but I'm not hopeful... Cool set though!
Dang...I would love this, but I'm not double dipping since I have them all already. Not a fan of the disc stacking though.

@@williamdriver1959same old recycled discs stacked on top of another. 70 bucks for the special features disc for me isn't worth my time and money. I'm happy for those excited for this set though!
