I’m with Billy, Christmas Vacation. We watch it multiple times every year.
Just an amazing podcast, loved it so much. Thank you all for sharing your memories. It made me think back on my my own answers to the questions. I am 70 so I had a lot of memories to go through and my childrens memories.

Hey mistakes happen! It’s all good! I just love them either way! I always look at the quilts on UA-cam and then leave to go take my 87 year old mother to quilting 100 miles away. I always listen to the podcast then. I always look so forward to new ones, but I have listened to the old ones many times also. Keep doing what you’re doing (all three of you)!

I really like the Christmas quilt behind Bill. As it’s an older quilt design I couldn’t find it on Lori Holt’s blog but I found the pattern at “The Fat Quarter Shop”…(just in case anyone is looking for it).

Even though we weren’t able to see all of the podcast I SO enjoyed hearing all your “Favorite Things” I was born in the 50’s so I’m a bit older but remember every snack, toy and movie you shared. silent night is my fav xmas song. i love the temptations xmas album, of course the great mariah carey, and now brandy has one. my fave movies are sound of music, white christmas, and charlie brown xmas. my oldest son and I have to watch sound of music for xmas and him, his wife, and my granddaughter have to watch nightmare before xmas.
So fun to listen to today. I could relate to many of the favorite things! Good memories 😊

The camera glitch this morning turned out to be a boon for me, as I could listen while I downloaded the remaining 2023 BOM blocks. Thank you for the reminder as I had started two weeks ago downloading 3 blocks, but got sidetracked with the video and never finished. A very calming hour with you.

"The Holiday" is my favorite Christmas⛄ movie too. I love it so much that I bought the DVD!
Regarding trying to get all things done by Christmas, I now start holiday projects in January so I don't get stressed out as the holidays grow closer. Last January I started a large Christmas quilt and finally finished it in September. I am now totally enjoying it....stress free!

Ah! Technology at work! My husband and I retired a year ago after selling our software business. Glitches, bugs and jinxes are SO familiar to us! I'm just so happy you were able to save the audio. I was able to get a little done away from the screen for a while, and I enjoyed every bit. Thank you for another wonderful installment.
P.S., I managed to nab a small collection of Simply Delightful FQs and JRs. I have some fun ideas and can't wait to work them up!

I love to kit my stuff when I am marinating the projects. I use those Iris bins from big box stores, because I already had those and chalkboard label stickers that I write on with chalk markers to let me know what’s in there.
Love, love all of the quilts showing especially the sew a long quilt blocks! I can’t wait to make the smaller blocks and put it all together! Gorgeous❤❤❤ I love “Drummer Boy” 🥁 I used to play it by ear on my piano and my grandmother’s piano when we would visit in Florida. “It’s A Wonderful Life” will always be my favorite movie with “A Christmas Story” being a close second. Absolutely the way a lot of us grew up during that time😂😂😂😂 Nice podcast and wish you all a Very Merry Christmas ❤
I’m a first grade teacher and enjoy your podcast. I also bought your planner and your book about your grandmother’s quilt patterns. My grandma is also from Iowa! I have time off at Christmas and bought many online patterns (pdf) to download on my phone. How would you organize these patterns? I made screenshots of each page and put the patterns in a file on my iPhone in the picture app. I wrote the name of each pattern and who it was from in my planner, so I know that I have them. I plan on making one of your quilts soon, so before I order the pattern, I’d like to know how you would organize these. I love listening to Chelsi and Billy and find your family calm and real. Thanks to all of you!
LOL Billy that always happens to me! I can even “think” oh I’m doing sew great here and then!…. I sew over a pin or something and break my needle 😮

Love you guys. For Christmas movies you need to check out "Trapped in Paradise" with Nicolas Cage, Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey. My other favourite is "The Ref" with Dennis Leary. And Billy, we say TSO in Toronto Ontario a few years back and it was phenomenal. Do go see it.
We watch Trapped in Paradise every Christmas Eve!! It's definitely my favorite but not many people know it. 😂
