My late mother's friend hand sewed all her quilts. She never had a sewing machine. Each child (ten) received at least one quilt. She would scold them for displaying her quilts instead of using them as blankets. One afternoon when she aired out her own quilts, they were all stolen....never recovered. My mother comforted her by saying all her most beautiful and loved quilts survived ❤️

Your home is lovely and I love the use of quilts in both holiday and everyday decor! I have a stairway in my home leading to an open area that looks down over the family room and I hang both Christmas and everyday quilts over that wood railing. It's always full of quilts that you can see from just about anywhere downstairs. Merry Christmas!
