In short, in the node editor, right click, go to "shape", "mesh", create a new "mesh" node and connect the mesh to the "shape" on the "emitter primitives". Select the "mesh" node, click on "open mesh file" and import either an obj or fbx and then click on Voxelize, that's it.
Please tell me why EmberGen have a limit of 250 frames for exporting a session to png . And why i choosing a "Loop simulation", and image export does not have a continuous connection (looping effect), and the first and last frames of the sequence are different?
I'm waiting for this software to get integrated directly with octane and c4d before i cover this. It currently seems like the actual simulations don't have enough detail for them to look really good in another program. They look good in Embergen. I want to see how this develops. I'm still going to experiment to see what results i can get with vdb's in another program.

i can only see "timeline" on the bottom left, how can I change it to be the same as yours?
Can you use EmberGen to create a static .obj or .fbx ? I would love to make an explosion prop and I cant figure out how to do so.

I'm not sure i'm quite understanding your question. I use both Blender and Cinema 4D with my workflow.
Awww, too bad it doesnt support animated alembics... yet :) Would use it for a burning flag :'D
