I don't anticipate that Tamashii will actually make the dorsal spines extendable, but I do think it'd be nice if they at least sculpted them in their extended form to differentiate them from the original figure
I’d like to see all of those suggestions you’ve made. But we all know if it’s Bandai making it we won’t get any accessories, and it’ll be 300 dollars because they’ll say it’s a special color version. But we can always have hope that HIYA will hear us and make a MinusGoji.
They’d be stupid not to, given all the praise I’ve seen for the movie. That is a fair bit of money to be made.

Now that Super7 made the 1200 degrees burning goji, I feel like they should make the pressurized minus one goji since they did a rlly good job with burning

I would love for the Odo island design. That scene was fantastic and I would love to recreate it as best as possible.
I hope Hiya Toys makes some Godzilla Minus One figures, especially now that they are able to make Toho figures. My hopes are they do 1954, 1984, GMK, Shin, and Minus One.
There was already a Heisei Godzilla mold they showcased at the San Diego Convention so they’ll most likely start with that before working on the other Toho kaijus.
Good to see Steve can still get excited about possible SHMA releases. After seeing all the flops from Tamashii figures the last few years I would’ve imagined he would have fallen out of love so to speak completely by now
I can only see Super 7 doing the pressurized Godzilla with a blown head. Considering they the only ones to go bold and do a meltdown Godzilla

For Minus one, I agree with the everything you mentioned. Godzillosaurus from Odo Island with maybe a small little runway/control building, for his atomic breath version he definitely needs extendable dorsal plates and maybe some small buildings as accessories, look at all the space in the box not used in SHMA, granted it’s taken up by inner packaging but come on, gimme buildings, of like you said some tanks, and finally the Bends/decompression version where he was so heavily injured and his eyes turned white like GMK, with the Shinden plane

I would like to see more and more effort from Bandai to better improve the eye decals and paint apps. Probably when the source material comes, Bandai should stick to that and do the best they can.
I have a question, how did you get the Minus Goji SH figure before release date according to amazon?
I found it funny that after watching the discussion and reviews Super 7 announced their Godzilla minus one figure.
I'd like to see a translucent/glowing vortex attachment as Godzilla is inhaling before letting loose his atomic breath. I also would love an Odo Island version. Would a scaled version only come up to Godzilla's ankle?

I would really like to see NECA get the Godzilla license again too they made me so happy by collecting their godzilla line so many good memories and if they get the license back hopefully they’ll will do redo the heads and make it screen accurate heck even if NECA does a screen accurate godzilla 2000 figure for us

I don’t really have confidence in SH making other versions in terms of getting the eyes right. With the exceptions of heat ray and pressure damage Godzilla since their eyes are literally one color.

You're not talking about SHMA, right? What you're suggesting... I dunno how likely it is to happen. The (spoiler alert!) and variants may be possible, but the accessories... no. Even as accessory pack, no. Not going to happen. Shin Goji got like at least 3 iconic scene involving the humans fighting it: the tanks and fighter jets desperately trying to stop it, the bomb trains, and the freeze thinggy trucks. For building in the accessory set could be that sliced building. But what we get? none. We do get Shin's earlier forms and variants, like what you'll hope for Minus One, but none for everything else. Even if (spoiler!) exist, it'll be a usual figure-only release. As for the atomic breath, probably gonna be a half-baked ver for standard/tamashii web release, followed by a better yet scarce event/Blu-Ray exclusive that got actual effort put into it. I could be wrong, considering Minus One seems to have more impact than Shin, but I dunno about SHMA at this point. Maybe if they bring it back to red Bandai, it'll happen for sure. Hiya, they probably would make a far superior figure for a far lower price, but still came with nothing, unless it's the atomic breath ver. Super7 looks better already, but dunno if the factory gonna screw it up this time or not, and whether they'll make (spoiler!) and variants too or not. Those vehicle accessories probably gonna be sold by 3rd party modellers by the end of the day. Or included in SHMA but in the SDCC or Blu-Ray set exclusive, baby. What a steal

@@StevensToyReviews I do hope that even if neither three does it, we'll get those vehicles and stuff from gashapon. It happens with Ultraman. There's gashapon for the fighter jets that doesn't exist in SHF. It's more or less to-scale with SHF Ultras. If gashapon is too small for the sorta scene-specific accessory/vehicle in Minus One, candy toy could be another option. Candy toy could contain an actual figure in a small box, like So-Ta's Tsumugibako. So a bunch of accessories, even mini trains are possible. A candy toy/gashapon is probably a safer bet to be made by companies for such small, probably also niche, expansions. I do agree with your suggestion. I also want the same thing for other Goji too like Shin and MV. Shin and Minus One would be more universally usable, but man I want USS Argo and HEAV too dang it. Not to mention 3rd party diorama piece, while looks nice and all, it's loosely to-scale. Had these companies done it themselves, the buildings and ruins, baseplates, etc. would be more scale-accurate to their own line. It does liven up your display by a lot, giving the sense of scale and environment to it. I suppose it's not as much of a casual market magnet as a good 'ol giant monster figure. Gashapon and candy toy on the other hand, is an impulse buy magnet

I like Hiya toys but there aren’t any figures related to Hiya in Target stores or even from other collectible stores in Houston.

Wild that they didnt line up the super 7 to release closer to the movie, or even likely the digital/dvd/streaming release. Id figure you would want this type of release to be around when people actually see the movie.

Honestly I wish Super7 would not try for any of the modern stuff and go retro. Give me a 98 Godzilla, give me a trendmasters line, give me a Godzilla 94/96 concept design figure, Hell I'd even take the gryphon if they could swing the rights! But I'd want more unique never done before and not just repeat of things Monster Arts or Hiya has done

I actually asked Hiya Toys if they’ll make a Minus One Godzilla. Hoping they’ll respond, but I’ve got hope since they’re doing Toho designs.
@josephrozylowiczva Probably too early. I forgot where I heard this, but the license holder (Toho) would want to maximize profit. Having two companies compete for one product at the same time is not promising to maximize profit. It'll confuse the market as to which to buy, and you'll ended up with only one company sell. If you spaced out the time between one company with the other, people would buy from the first company, thinking it's the only one. Then they'll allow the other to do their ver., in hopes that if it's better, you'll buy it as well. BAAM, you just bought two products that you would otherwise bought only either one. Super7 gets a pass, I assume, is bc Toho sees Super7 as being more niche, thus won't effected the market by much in comparison to Hiya vs SHMA. I could be wrong, ofc, but this is the deduction I get. Iirc, Hiya was going to do Showa, but Toho won't allow it cuz SHMA is doing Showa. They got greenlit for Heisei cuz SHMA had done that looooong ago
