It's interesting that the focus is on "pairs" of memory while a single memory module is shown in the bottom section and remains there after two more modules are added under the keyboard.??

So if I’m upgrading from 32gb to 64gb do I replace the two 16gb with two 32gb or add two 16gb chips to the upper channel?

2 x 16 GB at rear and 2 x 16GB under keyboard, max supported is 64GB, matching pairs

@@ritchierobinson9195 This gentleman is correct. This is the way you would want to go about it. 4x16gbs. Just make sure you buy it all from the same manufacturer, and have everything matching, including rank, clockspeed, cas latency, and of course size. You're not going to want to lift that keyboard anymore than absolutely necessary, so make sure you get it right the first time. I wonder how much acid the Dell enginners ate before designing this mobo? I'm going to guess it was a minimum of 250 micrograms.

Good video. But makes no sense that Dell did this. I cannot understand the engineers logic here, it makes very little sense, it's just very bad design. I had a another workstation a while back in the form of a HP Zbook 15 G3, which also had 4 SO-DIMM slots and they were all right next to each other, you just simply removed the back panel and had access, like you would a normal mobo, this is just insane. Having to go to this level of dissembly is going to be uncomfortable even for some experienced hardware users. That all said, because the design is so nuts, I would actually be really curious to speak to someone from Dell to understand why they did it this way, just for curiousity.
    Class video mate.

Good day, please tell me this dell precision 7510 model supports four 16gb ddr4 2400Mhz modules? Does it only work on 2133Mhz?

I think it depends on the type of processor. i7 (2133Mhz) vs Xeon (2400Mhz)
