Denman Island R & R before our final push home

Following our ferry from Prince Rupert Port Hardy we rode down Vancouver Island to Dori's family retreat on Denman Island via the short ferry at Buckley Bay.
While here, the sun has been shining and the water, although not quite considered warm, has been ideal for a late afternoon dip.
Leisurely visits each day to the local coffee and sandwich shop where we have whiled away an hour or two, followed by a browse around the delightful gift shop have helped us relax and has give us the opportunity to sort out our bikes before the final ride from here to Vancouver, onto Kelowna, and #kelownapowersports where my bike will be serviced and fitted with a new set of tyres. We will then make the final 4 hour ride, following the contours of the land between the mountains, back to our home in Rossland BC, where we will prepare bikes for winter, before once again jetting off to the UK and visiting the Armchair Adventure Festival in the South of England, meeting up with old friends.
