Not just a movie theme ..... I listen to this ... In times of weakness and I feel so much Strength building inside ..... It brings a level of emotion I can not describe ...... Thank You Hans Zimmer for such Beauty
I cannot describe how I feel when I listen to this, but my soul SOARS. And judging by the almost ecstatic look on so many faces of the musicians, theirs do too.
This music possesses an unparalleled strength, resonating deep within the core of your being. With each crescendo, it ignites a fire within, empowering every fiber of your being. It's not merely a composition; it's a testament to resilience, a champion among melodies, leaving an indelible mark on your soul with its formidable power.
The scene in the movie that this piece coincides with adds to the weight of the music. It is 100% impossible for me to hold back my tears when I hear this music. I wonder if pieces like this would have the same effect without their counterparts on film. No composer has had that effect on me as much as John Barry - the greatest film scorer of the 20th century. He was the pioneer of setting moods in movies with music. Han Zimmer easily carries the mantle into the 21st century. There are several honorable mentions among their ranks: Horner, Morricone, Goldsmith... I digress. Bottom line for this piece. HZ knocked his 62nd homer out of the park with his Knights of the Holy Grail (Chevaliers De Sangreal). Pure waterworks for this music. One of the greatest 4-minute treasures ever conceived. Cheers.
Hans Zimmer is unparalleled. I could stop there - but to give an example of just one of the ways that he’s a master at marrying the score to the characters and the scenes in which the music lands within the movie, this piece always brings to mind the image of Tom Hanks reverently taking a knee /kneeling at the site of the shrine that he alone finds at the end of the movie. We the audience are shown he’s right, but he cannot SEE it - but he KNOWS it’s there beneath him. This music starts that scene with the beginnings of the character’s realization of the true meaning of the clues and culminates with the finding. Like so many of Zimmer’s masterpieces, I cannot hear this piece without instantly being transported back to the original feelings I experienced when I first heard it. He’s a master at eliciting emotion, tears, goosebumps, reverence, romantic yearning, triumph, heartache… The Injection scene in Mission Impossible 2, the training montage scene of Bruce Wayne training to fight on the ice in Batman Begins and countless others are captured moments in time for which I’m truly grateful to be able to relive at will - although some of his music can throw me into a “mood” so deep I don’t come out of it for days. Zimmer composes for the soul and I feel it in most everything of his I hear. Zimmer should go down in history as one of the greatest composers of all time…and he should have many more Oscars than he has now in acknowledgment of his immeasurable contribution to music and cinema and the sublime art they together combine to form.
This has got to be one of the greatest compositions ever. Thank you, Mr. Zimmer. So thrilling, so emotive, so suspenseful, so euphoric, so exciting, calming and soothing - all at once! How DOES he do that?
@@jwozniak1 "One of the greatest compositions ever" ? Ever heard of Bach, Brahms, Debussy, Ravel, Stravinsky, Gershwin, Schoenberg, Messiaen, Xenakis, *, Pat Metheny ? *and many others who contributed to build the contemporary musical language. @@ofdrumsandchords Music doesn't need complexity to be effective. Zimmer creates music that is effective, his music triggers a lot of emotions, and it doesn't matter if it is the most complex music in the world. In fact, only geniuses create great effective music with less theoric complexity.

I've have listened to this countless times. I've been wanting to comment for a while but I'm just speechless everytime 😮😮😮. The crescendo in this masterpiece is just beautiful and amazing. How does a person bring this out of their brain and allow us to hear their creation just like they hear it, is mind blowing to me. Did they even have violins in Mozart's day ? What about other instruments that one would think might surpass what the old masters had to work with ? Something to chew on.
@@richardbrophy4120 Definitely they had violins yes. Most acoustic instruments were already available at that time. Mozart's Concerto No. 5 in A major is a famous violin piece for example. What is different now is some of the instruments in these concertos are electric, and the ones that are acoustic are most often electric enhanced (with microphones), so all the sound you hear can be much more regulated / mixed. Back in those days you really needed a good acoustic venue and the musicicians to play really well in tune to get a good concerto. For example, Jahn's Hall is one of those were many of the greats (Beethoven, Mozart, Jahn, etc.) have performed.

Watching the faces on the ladies playing, you can see them feeling every note they play, as if it's coming from their very souls.. beautiful !
I agree. Brings me to tears as it reaches into my soul. This takes me to another place in life
WOW! Couldn't have said any better! BRILLIANT! Well said and ALL TRUE! RESPECT!
Immer wieder Gänsehaut. Einfach nur großartig und einzigartig monumental. Danke für diese Melodie
Perfect. So seamless and tight.
One of the best pieces of music ever written.
I do not know why, I’m crying evert time I hear this piece. Masterpiece!
Hans Zimmer captures the feeling in the heart of the people from the stories the movies tell.
DANKE !
Good morning 🌅, I am listening to this on my transmission line loudspeaker cabinets, 150w NAD , it sounds amazing, France.
Still get goosebumps every time hear this. Bravo maestro Hans Zimmer
You and me both! It's intense, and it grabs your soul! I actually teared towards the end...it grabs you emotionally!

Herr Hans Zimmer. He‘s German.
I really want to go back to the first time I heard this piece.
I can't explain what I felt, it was magic
Addicts of any persuasion seek the same hit. Something for us all to remember.

Cheers.
Feel exactly the same, this is unbelivable
Heard it the first time in Disney's Fantasia 2000. Later in the movie the da vinci code.
He’s a master at eliciting emotion, tears, goosebumps, reverence, romantic yearning, triumph, heartache…
The Injection scene in Mission Impossible 2, the training montage scene of Bruce Wayne training to fight on the ice in Batman Begins and countless others are captured moments in time for which I’m truly grateful to be able to relive at will - although some of his music can throw me into a “mood” so deep I don’t come out of it for days.
Yes how does he do that! tremendous 😅
Learn music, please. This is ridiculous.
@@ofdrumsandchords I left a positive comment. Why would you say it's ridiculous?!
Nothing wrong with liking Hans Zimmer, but he's absolutely not on the level.
@@ofdrumsandchords Music doesn't need complexity to be effective. Zimmer creates music that is effective, his music triggers a lot of emotions, and it doesn't matter if it is the most complex music in the world. In fact, only geniuses create great effective music with less theoric complexity.
I love it that Zimmer loves other musicians too. All kinds of musicians. He is a musician in the truest sense of the word. It truly is a language of its own - a universal one - and he speaks it extremely fluently. 💯
Why can’t the world just listen to music like this and stop killing each other.
Because world has Ego
Because a certain religion doesn’t allow music it’s forbidden
because moneh
because murica wants to rule to the world
I wish everything was actually that simple
Ok my god ...what a masterpiece...been tot heaven an turn back alive...ohhh

She can still listen if she buried, do what I did..I take music on my phone that my mother loved to her grave, I sit and talk to her and play her the music, I know she is in heaven listening😊😊 to
just went to his concert last night. OH MY GOD!!!!! INCREDIBLE, AMAZING. If you ever get a chance to see him in concert, GO!
It is a beauty that has no words.
the song has no words…..duh
You are part of a select few that truly get it!
This music accompanied me on my pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago that I made in the month of May. Listening to this melody immersed in those magnificent landscapes of northern Spain was an epic experience, tears of emotion fell from my eyes before such ancient magnificence.
Thanks to Hans Zimmer for creating this inspiring melody and to these great performers for this beautiful perdormance. ❤
Very beautiful experience my friend.
Somewhat similarly, I used it to accompany my visit to the Roslyn Chapel in Scotland few years ago. It is a great piece for pilgrimages.
So much respect for these musicians, it's crazy to think how much time and efford in organising and performing.... in sinc....every individual playing it along so perfectly with grace. What a amazing experience it must have been, even for the artists!
Anyone who says this is garbage most likely is disturbed in the head.
I agree.
I feel like the violin is telling it’s story to the cello and it’s consoling her and as it comes to crescendo.
Just amazing!!!!!
As to someone being sick in the head for not feeling the same….
Well…..😅
I don’t see it that way.
Live and let live. Let’s focus on the good and understand we are all different 😊
Till the last breath leaves my body..... bring on my rivals 2 at a time if I'm to be defeated you will be broken too, that's what I hear this moment.

Even though no words used. I can still feel thousands of words and stories being told to me. A music is enough it does not need any lyrics. Such a beauty ❤❤❤
Hats off to whoever encouraged Rusanda Panfili to pick up a violin as a kid. Astonishing talent
There are only a handful of composers who can bring you to tears, and. he is one of them.
Totally agree with you. Beauty to the ears. I'd so love to see / hear this live ❤️
Same I live the sound of the violin John Williams swindlers list they sound like they are crying for the poor lost people 😢

Such music and all the musicians are feeling it as they play. Beautiful thank you. Just what the world needs.
This is probably the most perfect and best music ever written in human history. This is an absolute masterpiece. How can you listen to this and not feel some sort of emotion?
hands down....
my sister played in an orchestra...the violin...taught herself to read sheet music...I'd put on a tape or later a CD and she only needed to listen once to play perfect...she battled with her mental health all her short life...but her gift lives on...peace and wellbeing brothers and sisters ...Live Life
All the best for your beloved sister!
That's a gift 👍✌️
I'm left absolutely speechless.
I can feel the music, the emotion, the suspense, the calmness and every emotion in this piece of music .

I want this to play at my funeral it is the only thing that can explain my heart my life and where I'm going
Tom Waits -- Day After Tomorrow, and One Final Look.
I played it at my fathers.. on his wish
What a sweet soul you are to wish this. I hope your funeral isn't until at least several pieces of this caliber are written...i.e., a very long time. This one will definitely make my funeral soundtrack as well. I've been composing it for the last 45 years...
I have that with “Now We Are Free” i think half of my funeral play list is from Hans Zimmer
Inchallah !
The girls all wear thigh high tights. Their eyes are closed when they play. They make love to their instruments. Hans Zimmer conducts. The music is pure Heaven. It makes me cry.

They were decor pieces to get more audience actually

I enjoyed reading the comments almost as much as listening to (and watching) this beautiful, entrancing, captivating and spine tingling piece of music. Hans is a genius.
Nuff said I reckon 🤷😃😍
The music touches your heart, Hans Zimmer is indeed a legend
Yes 💯
Hans Zimmer is our modern day Mozart.
No, Mozart was the ancient day Zimmer.
Did they even have violins in Mozart's day ? What about other instruments that one would think might surpass what the old masters had to work with ? Something to chew on.
wouldnt go that far ....but his passion is amazing
Mozart used more than 5 notes in his partitions.
